Chapter 25

Chapter 25~ The Twelve Powers

Nari

~ 16 years later~

"Dad!!" I called out from the front door. My last power was fully developed. It seemed like every year, I would get a new power and it would go away and then come back. Then I have to relearn how to control them again.

My dad, well Xander or Alexxander took me in for my mom and raised me. He told me that I will be an important person to my planet. I knew who I was and what I am. There was no hidding it. He also told me that I had brothers. Twelve of them and it was my job to find them. Well I think I did find one when I was in London.

"Dad!!" I saw him in the living room talking on his phone. "Yes the preparation are ready for you to come down in three years. I hope to see you soon Mr. Huang." He shut the phone and looked at me.

"Is there something you need, babygirl?" I shook my head.

"Nope just you approval of me going out with Melissa tonight."

"Have you finished your school work?"

I nod.

"Your training for the day?"

I nod again. He looked like he didn't want me to go out tonight but I been planning this since last week.

He sighed. "Fine but promise you will be safe and if you ever need me just shoot me a message."

"Thank you Daddy!!!" I hugged him and then went to call Melissa to tell her that we are on tonight.

I entered my room as my phone started ringing. It was Melissa. "Hey I was about to call you. I can make it tonight."

"That is good news, Princess." A male voice said through the receiver. I stopped as my blood turned cold. I quickly shut the door to my room.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Im sure your aware of who I am. Poor Melissa will die you don't come save her.

"Touch her and you will die in pain." I hissed.

"Nari!! Nari please save me!!" I heard Melissa frantic voice in the back ground.

"Yes Princess Nari please come. We wont touch her until you show up at park. You have twenty minutes." He said and hanged up the phone.

I dropped my hand and held my phone in a tight grip. I stood there for a few minutes and then went to my closet to get my gear on.

Once getting ready. I opened my door and yelled at my dad that I was going. He probably thought I was going to teleport somewhere close to Melissa's house and go from there.

It didn't take me long to teleport to the park. It was now night and there was no soul in the park. I walked up to see Melissa on her knees looking scare for her life and three guys surrounding the area. I looked at her to assure her that I was going to save her even exposing who I am.

"Hello Princess" he said.

"Yeah Yeah lets cut the chit chat. Now hand over my friend." I said.

"Im afraid I can't do that." He said and pointed a gun at her. He fired the gun and I freezed time to stop the bullet. I teleported infront of Melissa and unfroze time. The bullet came fast but I used my telekinesis to make the bullet drop.

"Well done Princess, but we aren't done here." He said. I was protecting Melissa as two of the guy charged at me. I let my water form and threw it at one as I frosted his ass like a popsicle. The other one I threw fire at him and struck a full charge of ightening at him. I raised my foot and stomped the ground. The ground shook and both of them went through the cracks of the ground.

The one guy that still had his gun in his hand started firing again and eventually one hit Melissa because I heard a scream of pain.

"You bastard!" I yelled at him as the wind swirled around him like a tornado and sucking the oxygen out of him. He dropped to his knees as he held his neck. Nine out of twelve of my powers were going out of control.

I stepped through the tornado of mess and raised the man with my telekinesis and took his gun from the ground.

"You hurt my friends and I will kill you. Hurt my family and I will kill you. Too bad you won't be able to pass the message along to your king but I will en this war one way or another." I told him as he gagged.

I let him drop to his knees again. I pulled the trigger and blew a hole in his head. Once I got my powers into control. I watched him burn to ashes.

I ran to Melissa and kneeled down at her and teleported to my house. My Dad was watching a baseball game when he saw me covered in blood and crying as I held on to Melissa.

He rushed and got the medical kit and proceeded to take the bullet out of her. She was half with us while groaning in pain. I held her hand as I was trying my best to soothe her.

"Got it!" My Dad said as he dropped the bullet in the bowl. I took over and used my healing power to heal her closed but not completely, just to the point where it wont kill her.

I contacted her Mom to tell her that she was going to stay over at my house for the night. We both sat in silence until she broke it. "Sooo... you have super powers?"

I sighed. "I'm not super man or super woman but yes I have powers. Twelve of them actually. Twelve to represent my twelve older brothers."

"Twelve is alot?"

I giggled. "It is but a pain to control especially when tour only sixteen and know nothing about what your supose to do or how to do it." I paused and looked at her. Was she ready to hear about my story. The worst could happen is her leaving me.

I pushed back my hair. " I'm not original from here. My Dad isn't even my father. My home is Exo planet and I'm the princess while my Mom is the Queen and my older brothers are the prince. Long ago my planet was tooken over by an evil planet called Xerus. They started a war and took over my home planet There's a prophecy that twelve boys and a girl will save the planet from the evil forces and that would be my brothers and I. In the next three years, I'll be traveling the world battling one on one just to look for my brothers." I told her. She sat there and took it all in.

We didn't say anything. We were both thinking and taking it all in. I was surprised when she wrapped her arms around me and hugged me.

"I have the world amazing coolest friend, who not only kicked ass tonight but saved my life. I'm very lucky to have her in my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I'll stay by yourside cheering you on and battling the hard times with you. We will always be sisters forever."

And with that I knew she was going to stay with me until the end. I smiled into her shoulder and hugged her tighter.

"Now lets watch a movie" I said pulling back and picking out a movie.
