"Can you hear me, Soldier?"
"Yes. I can hear you." A female voice quietly responded. She body laid out on a gurneys the bright light that shined on her made it increasingly hard to focus on who was talking to her.
What she did know is that many eyes were on her. Watching her every move as she waiting patiently for what was going to happen next.
"Mission report?" The voice wondered. In that moment the females mind wandered as she remembered the person she murdered in cold blood.
She remembers looking at their corpse. Seeing the blood on her hands, and seeing the tears welling in their spouses eyes now realizing that she would have to kill them too for they were a witness to the crime.
"Target neutralized along with potential surrounding witnesses." She said not resisting towards the straps that held her down anymore feeling the tight leather against her ankles and wrists.
"Excellent. I'm so proud of you my dear." The voice was soon physical, now placing a hand on her head. She felt comforted by his touch that was gone too soon.
"Start the cryostasis freezing chamber immediately." Another doctor then ordered unhooking her straps then proceeding to put metal shackles on the patient. The scientist in charge of the chambers immediately spoke back. He was the one who had placed a hand on the woman.
"We can't start it up yet, her partner's not back yet. They are suppose to be in stasis together. It keeps their connection towards each other stronger." He spoke back quickly towards the doctor. He cared for this woman.
"She's going to be going in now. She will be in there longer due to recent events. Get him out of here." The doctor shut down any other conversations sending the scientist out.
"Don't do this to her!"
She heard everything. She wanted to cry, but she didn't even know what was going on. All she could continue to see was the bright light staring at her. She just sat their quietly. It was as if she was under a magic spell. Forced to stay quiet.
"If there is no more interruptions, let's get you to your station." The doctor instructed. The woman listened with no conscience as to if she wanted to go or not.
Her eyes finally adjusted to see that she was walking to a big silver box. There was a circular whole in the middle that seemed to be frosted over with ice. Suddenly her heartbeat was increasing but she didn't know why.
"Get in." The doctor instructed. Moving out of the way to allow the woman to get. She listened to the doctor feeling the cold air surround her. She shivered as she looked back at the world that was about to disappear.
As the door began to close is when her sudden fear began to hit her. She began hyperventilating watching as the door began to fully close.
