Eventually the two were able to pull themselves back on to the helicarrier now planning their next move.
"Steve we need to hurry, he's still in the carrier." Talia said as the two ran inside.
"Talia it's gonna be fine."
"Do you not remember what just took place. We just got pushed off of-" Talia stopped in mid sentence looking forward to see the winter soldier.
His face wore a cold expression as he looked at the two individuals. During his last mind wipe, Pierce made it clear that he wanted the soldier to have a clean slate, which meant no Talia.
But Bucky's mind couldn't let those memories of her go, and yet looking at her, he couldn't identify her.
"James?" Talia said taking a step forward, but that step forward put Bucky's guard up making his hand with the gun flinch.
"A lot of innocent people will die, Buck. Please don't make me to this." Steve begged. But Bucky still stood his ground.
Steve didn't know what else to do. Pushing Talia behind him he decided to fling his shield at Bucky. Bucky dodged it quickly raising his gun to see if he could get some shots on at Steve.
"Talia the chip!" Steve yelled.
"On it!" She yelled. She jumped over the bridge holding on to the second rail that connected it, climbing across on the side as Steve battled Bucky.
She made it across the place pretty fast, jumping back on the main platform. She saw that Steve had secretly slid the chip under Bucky to her, picking it up, she then removed the old one, about to place the new one in.
Before she could do it something had gripped on to her neck pushing her out of the way. She turned her head to see Bucky coming towards her. She reached for her gun, ready to fire at his leg, but he kicked it out her hand, then bent down grabbing her neck once again.
He lifted her higher and higher against the side of the system, choking her. She wrapped her hands around his trying to remove them. She then lifted her hand beating down on his arms, till they gave out releasing her.
She tried to get out of the way as Steve came to help her pushing Bucky away from her. But of course things didn't go as planned when Bucky got up only meaning to ram Steve, but ended up ramming all three of them off the bridge down to the bottom of the system room.
During the fall Steve and Bucky landed on a ledge, while Talia slid further falling onto the glass floor at the bottom of the circular room, hitting her head as she fell knocking her out.
"Talia!" Steve yelled at the top of the ledge.
She wasn't responding to him, worrying him a little. He had to get down there. He noticed the chip on the ground on the ledge about to grab it, till Bucky kicked down below off the ledge with his foot.
Steve quickly took the opportunity sliding down below trying the find the chip. Bucky found it first engaging in another fight between the two. In the end Steve grabbed Bucky in a head lock, trying to get him to let go, which Bucky refused, so Steve tightened the lock, making Bucky go unconscious so he would release the chip.

"Talia ." Steve called out checking Talia's head which was bleeding. He held her close moving the hair out her way making sure she was okay.
"Talia." He said once again. He felt as if he wanted to cry, still brushing hair out of her face. He then continued to call her name:
