The next day was school again, I'm so tired from last night. I couldn't sleep whatsoever, it was torturous. I am so scared, what if my mom's on to me. What if she's just waiting for the right moment to pounce on me for it. I breathe in and out and look over at Skylar in the hallway. She's talking to a few of her friends, some are even juniors.
"Hey, Kayla, come over here. We're playing truth or dare." Skylar calls me over.
"I know, I know, it sounds childish but...who cares, we're not adults yet!" Skylar's friend, Crystal, joked.
"Alright, truth or dare, Sky." A boy named, Leo, asked.
"Dare." Skylar said, bracing herself.
"I dare you to...walk up to that senior and ask if he's a freshman." He says.
"That's really the best you got?" Crystal asks.
"Hey, seniors hate being mistaken for freshmen." Leo warns.
"What's wrong with freshmen." I ask with a smirk, crossing my arms.
"...That's a long list." Leo says under his breath.
Skylar shrugs and does the dare. "Are you joking?! No!" The senior says, slamming his locker and walking off.
"Your turn Leo. Truth or Dare." Crystal asks.
"Dare, duh." He says, bravely.
"...I dare you to kiss Kayla!" Crystal chuckles.
"Woah, I can't." I said.
"Why not? Scared? Hah, Don't be scared, fresh meat." Crystal teases.
"I really can't!" I repeat.
"C'mon!" Crystal teases again.
"She said she cant." Skylar says, her face reddening.
"Yeah plus I cannot kiss a freshman, sorry." Leo says.
"Ugh fine. Skylar, kiss Kayla." Crystal says. Skylar looks at me as if to say "As if we havent done that before."
"I'm perfectly fine with that." I say, kissing Kayla.
"Woah..." Crystal says, not expecting that outcome. Just then, the bell rang to go to the next block. Skylar and I walked away together to our classes.
"Well, that was an...unexpected twist." Leo whispers to Crystal.
"Yeah, and they're just friends too.." Crystal says. "How can you kiss a close friens that easily?" Crystal asks Leo.
