After walking home, I toss my backpack on my bed. Just as I was about to reach into my back pocket, my mom calls me down.

"Kay!" She yells up to me.

"Um...Yes?!" I reply loudly.

"Wash the dishes and clean the house, Im going to go to store." She says, leaving. I have a sigh of relief as the door slams shut and walk down stairs to do the chores. I scrubbed each and every dish, plate, you name it. My phone begins to vibrate on the counter, it's Sky, I quickly answer.

"Hello!" I say, squishing a soapy sponge against a plate.

"Sup? Doing your chores?" She asks.

"Heh..Yep. It's a great time at Kayla's house today!" I say sarcastically.

"Sounds it..how about...I come over?" She says.

"I think that'd be splendid." I chuckle.

"Well then, guess it's settled. See ya in 5." She says, hanging up the call.

Skylar makes me so happy, I never thought a person could possibly be so happy at once. Who knew? Certainly not me or anyone else I know. It's almost too good to be true. Just then, I hear a knock. I rush to the door and open it, my hands are still damp.

"Hi!" I say, hugging her tightly against me. She hugged me back and we began to clean my house.

"I'm glad you came over, this would've been so boring to do alone." I sigh.

"I'm glad I could help." She says, leaning in to kiss me. Guess what happened next...thats right! My mom walked in.

"Kayla I'm---" She says, seeing Skylar's lips lock with mine.

"KAYLA!" She yells. My heart stops and everything feels like it's in slow motion.

"What do you think you're doing?! GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE! I know you pressured her into this....SHE'D NEVER CHOOSE TO KISS YOU! GO!" She says, practically chasing Skylar out.

"SKY!" I say, as she slams the door shut.

"Go to your room." She says, sternly.

"Mom...I--" I begin to speak.

"GO!" She yells.

I run upstairs and slam my bedroom door shut. I run onto my bed and slam my face in the pillow and cry for what seems like a century. I've been caught, we've been caught.

After some time, my mom calls me back down.

"Tell me exactly what happened." She asks me at the table.

"Um..." I stutter.

"She pressured you, right? You're not gay!" She asks, in a very shakey tone.

What do I say??

"Yeah...She dared me." I say out of impulse.

"I knew it! I knew you weren't gay! I knew that you're still a pure christian child." She says, hugging me tightly. She isn't to come here any more. You can't see her anymore, I won't have her taint you.

What have I done...
