Beads of sweat circled my forehead as I watched the scene before me.
don't go in there
I whispered more to myself than her. But being the naughty girl she was she opened the door and as soon as she entered the weird zombie creature ate her up!
I told her not to go!
I murmured after bringing my face up from the blanket.
the doorbell rang making me shout and jump on the couch.
after gathering myself and thoughts i walked towards the front door to open it.
I don't know what made me watch a horror movie in the first place.

let's just say I was bored out of my mind without Ayman here. Speaking about Ayman, he might be the person knocking, I thought.

I beamed and ran back to the dining area to check myself in the console mirror.
I was wearing a black and white cotton dress. My face was makeup free and my black straightened hair was stretched and falling on my back and chest.

perks of being a fulani person. Majority of 'us' have long black silky hair.
I straightened the dress and fixed my hair, I wanted to look good for Ayman.
I don't know why but i just do.

The doorbell rings again and I ran to open it. To my utter dismay it wasn't Ayman, it was a lady.
now thinking of it
Why will he knock? He owns the place

"you're even prettier in person!! Ayman's camera doesn't do you justice" the lady shrieked before pulling me in for a hug.
I pulled back though and stared at her giving her the who the he'll r you look.

she was dressed nicely in a white kimono and floral veil with a pink handbag swinging from her left arm and her iPhone6 in her right.

sensing my discomfort she shrieked again "I'm so sorry, turns out my stupid nephew didn't tell you I was coming!" she shook her head.
"hello i'm Farida or you can just call me Riri or Reeda or Rih whichever one" she said it quickly "and I'm Ayman's aunt, mommy's youngest sister"

"oh" I murmured before smiling apologetically "I'm so sorry zo mu shiga ciki (let's get inside)"

"sha I don't see your fault for not knowing, Ayman was suppose to bring you to us, but being the wawa(stupid) person he is he didn't" she said as she strutted inside the house.

"I guess we were all busy with school you know" I smiled as I watched her take a selfie.

"my friends are going to kill me today" she exclaimed "I promised to bring them to see Ayman and this house" she informed.

"why?" I raised a brow and walked towards the kitchen to get some refreshments.

"I don't think it's appropriate telling you, since you're his wife and stuff" she yelled from the living-room "but I'm going to say it anyways" she continued.

I chuckled and hoisted the tray up my arm.

"I'm so sorry I have no remaining pastries, Ayman finished all" I dropped the tray on the coffee dark wood Centre table and she shrugged and said it was no big deal.

"so as I was saying, all the female population of abuja that know the meaning of love are in love with your husband who happens to be my nephew and they are dying to see his house, because trust me it has been the latest talk I have been hearing" she gulped the chilled zobo (hibiscus juice) that she had on the glass cup and smiled at me

"wow" was all I could say.

Does Ayman know all this ladies are after him or is he oblivious??

"anyways I came here for a different reason" Farida clapped her hands and stood up brining me with her.

she starts to assess my face, pulling and punching my cheeks, opening my eyes wide and then closing them then she made me pucker my lips.

"I'm thinking a very simple nude makeup" she muttered taking a strand of my hair and assessing it "your hair needs to be coiled a bit, but apart from that it's good"
