Jeanine POV:

I think I get a little over board this time with my surprise for him.

The preparation, the invitation and everything was my plane. No one dare take that decision and get in the bad side of the future Alpha. Even if he didn't take the position as our Alpha yet, everyone respect him and his decisions but that doesn't work with me. I respect and love him but if I decide something no one can stop me, not even him.

Our quarrel this morning gave me the perfect opportunity to prank him and let him think I'm angry at him, and with his offer to get me ice-cream came just in time. The second he gets away, I get the help of the guys to help me prepare and decorate for the surprise party.

I wasn't that worried for his reaction, because I know he likes me and would never get angry at me. Even though I don't like the fact that he saw me just as his little sister but I'm ok with that for now. I'm positive that I can change his heart as long as he doesn't have a mate.

I feel sorry for my future mate, because I see myself declining the connection when it happens because my heart belongs to just one and that's Taehyung oppa and I would do anything for him to like me more than a sister.

I prepared everything the only thing missing is his presence as I was searching for something to drink, I get surprised when someone left me from behind.

The thing that surprised me more is his eyes when he put me down. I never saw his eyes as beautiful as that time, they were a light blue. I was surprised that something like that could exist. I know our eyes change with the change of our emotions, and I saw multiple colors before but not like this. They get me trapped for a moment, I felt like the time stop but then I saw his face to be the exact opposite. He looks angry, I couldn't understand why and I get really clueless as he advanced to me. I was waiting for him to lift me on his shoulder and turn me, or tickle me because that was his punishment wheneven I do something against his desire but for him to hug me that never cross my mind.

I hug him back after I get past my surprise. He didn't say anything and I was ok with that but then his grip started tightening around my waist. He was always a sweet and gentle person but his grip started hurting me.

"O.. Op.... Oppa, are you OK? " I ask because he isn't the same one as the one I know.

He didn't say anything but his grip ease a little bit so I tried backing off but he pulls me and kept me in place placing his head in the crack of my neck.

The fact that he didn't say anything make me worry that something happens to him. He is never protective like this if nothing happens.

Just when I was about to ask him again, I felt his lips on my shoulder. I froze in my place before he gets pulled away from me.

"What the hell, what happens to you" Jimin yell, stepping in front of me, blocking my view.

Everything happens so fast that I couldn't hear or concentrate on what they were saying until Jimin get pushed away from me and I saw Taehyung blue eyes gone and replaced with round and scary black one.

I know he wouldn't do anything but I couldn't but shiver at remembrance those eyes have from before. He saw that and worry and regret shown in his eyes. He hurried to get away after Jimin convinced him to.

"Hey, are you OK?" Jimin ask. I look at him still frightened from what I assist. I engulfed him in a hug, wanting to forget what happen and dismissing the evil though and the resemblance in what I hatted in the past. Jimin hugs me back and kept me company, patting my back and whispering sweet nothing in my ears until I felt secure again.
