Part 16

Jaenine POV :

After a worm shower I left the room feeling awake. Everyone was up by the time I made it downstairs, so I head to my usual place having small talk here and there.

Short after Jimin and Taehyung makes their presence. They took their usual places. Jimin just smile at me when our eyes met, then I turn at Taehyung sitting next to me to find him already looking at me.

"How are you feeling" He asks concerned, touching my cheeks with a gentle gest making my inside in a knot.

"I'm ok...I think"

He laughs at my respond, patting my hair like he used to, and retuning back to serving his breakfast.

After breakfast, everyone headed his own way. Some get upstairs and some headed out to school. I grab my backpack and head to the door next to Jimin but Taehyung stops me by placing his arm around my shoulder.

"I'll take her with me" He said to Jimin, the later just shrug his shoulder getting to his car with Jungkook in the passenger seat.

"Let go" he looks down at me making me feel small with his physic. He guides me to the passenger door of his car without letting go of me.

It's not a new thing between us, for him to hug me close or to give me a kiss but after me ignoring him the past couple days and feeling disconnected with him, it feel good to be close to him again and to feel everything in place like before.

We shared a couple talk here and there along the way to school but it was short and I kinda want it to be longer.

We get to the entrance of the school where we should split, but he surprises me with a kiss in the cheeks. I look at him with round eyes surprised but he just smile turning back to Jimin and Jungkook whom they were waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs.

A small smile climb my lips liking that everything get back to normal but I'm still waiting for him to reveal his mate for me. I still find It weird that just couple individual know that he find his mate as it supposed to be known to everybody as he is the Alpha after all.

"What is making you spacing up like that?" a familiar voice get me back to reality. I turn to find Joe, my lab partner standing a couple steps away from me.

"Morning, Joe"

" Good morning" He respond smiling that smile that get all the girls chasing after him "So, are you going to class, or you wanna skip?" he continue playfully.

"That would be good, but I can't. Oppa would kill me" I said heading to our first class.

"Too bad, I thought I can be your partner in crime"

"I would keep that in mind if I ever think of skipping" I said smiling. It's always good to talk and spend time with him. He is a good guy, but Taehyung don't like him for some unknown reason so I keep my friendship with him a secret. I can't invite him to my house anyway with my secret so we don't meet outside school for that matter.

The moment we get into class, his friend calls him and I headed to sit next to Hyeni. She was emerged in her phone texting someone. Just from her silly smile I know who was it.

"Can you get over this honey moon phase already" I said next to her ear surprising her.

She turn at me with a stare "You scared me, and I can't wait to see what you would do once you get in my place" she said turning back when her phone vibrate indicating a new message.

"Yeah, right. That would never happen" Because my crush have a mate already.

I pulls off my phone and start a game until the teacher get in, making the class quit down.
