Taehyung POV:
"Watch out, Taehyung!" our Trainer shouts, and I cursed, jerking from my thoughts. My muscles scream at me as I pivots hard on my left heel to block Jungkook's attack. But he was fast, blocking my attack. I pants, and he slips forward.
He pressed on my shoulder, stepping around my heel to trip me backwards, and the rush of the sensation of falling twists in my stomach. I turn and grabs on his shoulder as he falls, kicking at his ankles and tripping him. My back hits the ground hard, and I grunts at the pain, kicking both legs up hard into Jungkook's stomach.
Jungkook flies over me, hitting the ground on his back too. I heard the breath fly from his lungs, and I twists up onto my feet, teeth bared. Jungkook scrambles up to his feet, copying my crouch, his nails digging shallow grooves into the dirt of the training ground. He shows his teeth, his canines flashing, and I leaps forward at him, crashing into him. We roll across the ground, dirt flying up around us, in our animal forme, teeth snapping and hackles raised and claws tearing.
We break apart, and I ignores the blood I can feel dripping down my shin from my torn knee, pushing myself to my feet. Somehow enjoying this sensation since it made me forget about THINGS. I didn't stop there and circles Jungkook, a growl caught in my throat, the warning only barely swallowed as I waits for him to get up.
"Stop, Taehyung!"our Trainer shouts.
The mentor's voice was been enough to jerk Jungkook from the heat of the fight, enough to distract him for a long second that ends in him flat on his back with teeth at his neck. I wasn't ready to stop yet, I still need to exhaust myself more or else the thinking would kill me.
Jungkook is good at fighting, and he learned his lesson about taking his eyes off of his opponent a long time ago, learned to keep his focus and his head cool in the midst of a fight that why I wasn't worried of him getting hurt or anything.
He was fast to stumbles back into a standing position, and I watched him for any sign of movement, rocking on the balls of his feet. He know what I'm going throw or at least tries to understand for that he didn't take the trainer word to stop, even with his full knowledge of my hurt shin.
In a flash, Jungkook has moved in close, his eyes glancing left. I catches the slight smirk on his lips and I jump.
It's a common trick of Jungkook's to glance left and sweep out his leg from the right. Anyone who has never seen the attack before would follow the usual rule of combat to watch the opponent's eyes. Against Jungkook, that person would subsequently end up flat on the ground with Jungkook's teeth pressed against sweaty skin. The success rate of such an attack is nearly perfect, but I know Jungkook. I knows how to read my opponents, and I do not lose fights.
Jungkook launches himself up from the ground a mere blink after his attack and I balanced landing, without waiting or fully adjust I throw myself forward. Jungkook didn't manage to get his block up in time, and I drives my knee into his side. Jungkook staggers back, and I lunges after him, grabbing his wrist and twisting it behind his back. Jungkook drops to his knees, teeth grit against the pain; I followed him, using my weight to press him down so that his nose brushes the ground.
I growls against his shoulder, teeth just barely grazing over the skin, and Jungkook whines to admit his defeat.
"Alright, good," our mentor calls. "That was good. Relax." I lets go immediately, stepping away from Jungkook letting him take his breath. "Taehyung wins again," Trainer confirms, walking towards us.
"Change, I need to talk to you" Trainer Sung ordered and that left us confused. ًWe curry on and switch from our wolf.
While switching I could feel the pain ten time more, but didn't show it because it's entirely my fault.
Jimin was already there with the trainer by the time we switched back to our human form. From what I can see, the seriousness showing from their talk it must be really something thoughtful and solid and not just about me ignoring the orders.
Jungkook was as clueless as me, so I didn't even bother ask him.
"Sorry about ignoring your orders sir" I apologies, hopping this is what they were talking about just before we get closer but the deep thinking Jimin face make doesn't tell so at all .
"Let me ask you this, what did you think of your performance today?" trainer Sung ask and I get where he want to get. Dodging it now wouldn't help.
"Compared to previous session, Fifty or less of what I could have done" I confessed.
"And why do you think that happens?" He asks but I didn't say anything, neither my Betas so he continues "You would know better the reason then me, but I want you to resolve any problem you have because it's not a quality of an Alpha to slack or weaken like this. Everyone is related to you and the energy you exerts and if it's this low, how would you like the others to give their all." He stated leaving us to go check on the others.
"I'm off" I declared, making my way out of the training field to the changing room.
Trainer Sung's words really made me think. I totally forget about my connection with the member of my pack. All I was thinking about was my connection with my Mate neglection everything.
By the time I made it to the shower and the water made connection with my back, all the effort I tried in the field to forget about what happens in the cafeteria get crushed down like I did nothing.
It all started earlier this afternoon when she was talking with that classmate of her whom I never liked. The think that hurt and get me boil was when she was all smiley and cheerful with him when with us, she looks dull and awkward, just wishing to get away from me. I couldn't see that and stormed out.
I didn't know where I'm heading, I just wanted some clear air but she chose that time to talk.
That was the WORST time to talk because I wasn't in my mind at that time and don't even know what I said.
I don't even remember what I said or what I did but I remember correctly her expresion and the words she said.
She looks hurt, disappointed and I even remember her eyes with tears in the corner.
Her tears are my weakness, but her words at that times Kills me and my wolf at the same time.
"Who said I want to be your Mate, I would never accept this link"
Her words keeps turning in my head and the strength my wolf used to exerts on me also left me. I feel like I'm alone without my wolf and without my mate too.
