When we walk in, I'm hit with the smell of pine needles and bleach. I wrinkle my nose with disgust but Gale doesn't even seem fazed by the sudden smell.
"Welcome, District 12 Tributes!" A female calls to us from my right. "Follow me, please?" As we walk behind her, I try to examine what she's wearing. Lemon yellow shoes with a green skirt, a bright sky blue top and her hair is the color of a cherry that's been left in the sun for a couple of months. Capitol fashion is something that I will never understand!
We walk into a room as big as the Hob. Huge walls and a high roof towers above us. We are at the front of the line. The District 1 Tributes are staring at us like we are going to attack. I try to smile, but she grabs the boys hand and walks off towards her chariot.
We continue following the colourful lady down the line of Tributes. As we make our way down the lane, I notice a lot of them staring at us. What's their problem?? When we finally get to our chariot I turn to see and small child staring up at me. She must be about Ryes age but alot stronger. Instead of terror on her face, I see hope. Funny. We are in a room with 22 other Tributes, but I feel the most attraction between us. I make a mental note that I need to find this girl before the night is over.

We are making an alliance, whether she's are Career or not.
