James Cook #9

•The idea for this one is from omgreedus and I thank her for that. You should all follow her and read her books, they're amazing, trust me :D 

You and Cook were roomates. You took him in, one time you saw him crying on the street. It broke your heart, so you just asked him what was wrong. That started it all, and you were now living together for months.

''Morning, beautiful'' Cook says, and slaps your butt while you were cooking breakfast. ''Cook! I told you, stop doing that!'' you say, giggling a little, as you didn't mind so much. ''And I've told you, I can't!'' he answers and you both laugh.                                                                                           

 Things like that happened all the time, flirting and ''accidental'' touching. You kind of liked it.

''You know..Y/N...I've been feeling a little blue lately..wanna maybe try cheer me up?'' Cook tells you playfully. You had heard that many times, and each time you said the same. ''I'm not much into ''one time things'', sorry'' you say, giggling. ''Okay, I really don't know why you always assume I just want an 'one time thing', like, did you ever think I like you, and want you to be my girlfriend or something?'' Cook says, leaving you in shock. ''Cook, I-'' you try saying, but he is already leaving, closing the door behind him. 

''Cook!'' you scream, trying to catch up with him, outside the house, but he's going too fast. 

''Cook, listen to me, stop!'' you yell, again. 

It seems Cook is going to the park, so you follow him. You wanna talk to him. 

He sits on a bench. You sit next to him. Few moments of silence pass. ''You didn't need to leave like that..you didn't know how I would react'' you tell him, and try to touch his hand, but you eventually don't do it. ''And you would do what, jump in my arms and kiss me?'' he says. ''No, but-'' you try saying, Cook stops you ''See, so why was it wrong with me to leave like that!'' Cook says and gets up, leaving again. 

''Cook, come on!'' you say and grab his arm to turn him around, facing you. His body was so close to you, it felt like time stopped. You get confident and kiss him. He seemed shocked, but kissed back almost immediately, getting his arms around your waist. ''I was gonna say, I wouldn't jump in your arms and kiss you..I would hold you, and tell you I want to be with you..'' you say, and you can feel your cheeks getting red. ''Ugh, I was so stupid..I'm sorry, I..'' Cook starts saying but you stop him with a kiss, showing him you're okay with whatever happened. ''So, you're my girl now, right?'' he asks, smirking. ''Yeah, I'm your girl.'' you say and you kiss again. ''Come on, let's get home now'' you say, and you start walking, while holding hands, back to your place.
