 Plot: You and Cook reconnect after you left Bristol

You hear the door bell. ''Can you open, Y/N?'' your brother tells you. You get up and open the door. And unknown good looking guy is standing in front of you. ''Er...Hi, I'm Cook and-'', ''We don't know anyone named Cook'' you say, before he finishes his sentence. ''My actual first name is James and-'' he is again cut when your brother comes near you. ''It's that asshole!'' he says and you immediately realise this is the guy that beat up your brother. You try closing the door but Cook holds it and you couldn't close it. ''I'm just here to apologise! Just, let me in!'' he says. Your brother grabs your arm, so you're not holding the door anymore and Cook almost falls down, as he was still trying to get it. You chuckle at the sight. ''You wanna apologise?'' your brother asks him. ''Yeah..I..When I did what I did to you..I was just really upset, I didn't mean it. I'm sorry I let it out on you, that wasn't the intention I had..I hope we're good now..'' Cook says and you can see that he's being honest. Maybe he wasn't as bad as you thought he was.

From that day, you and Cook became friends. You discovered he wasn't that mean, and he could also be soft when he wanted. After realising that, you developed feelings for him. You didn't care if he felt the same, you just wanted to spend as much time with him as you could before you eventually had to leave.

''I'll miss you'' you say to Cook a day before you leave. He stays silent. ''Won't you miss me?'' you ask him. ''I don't think so'' he responds, and you feel your heart is about to break, and tears start coming from your face ''Goodbye Cook'' you say as you get up and leave, hearing nothing else from him.

''Oh god'' were the words that came from your mouth when you saw a familiar person in the club you were often going. ''What?'' your friend tells you. ''N-nothing'' you say but it truly wasn't nothing. The guy that you loved, even if you hadn't spoken for a long time, was now standing some metres away. You hadn't heard from him since that time he told you he wouldn't miss you. Before you even realise it, you start walking towards him. He sees you before you even get there and starts walking towards you too. ''Cook'' you say and he hugs you, holding you tightly. You feel like you're going to cry, as you never thought you would see Cook again, although you were still thinking of him. Without saying anything, he grabs your hand and leads you outside.

''God, I missed you..'' he says and hugs you one more time. ''I don't think so'' you say and cross your arms, reminding him what he had said that day. ''You seriously think I meant that?'' Cook says. ''You did sound pretty serious'' you tell him. ''Y/N..I didn't mean it..I knew I would miss you more than anything..I just wanted to be strong..'' Cook says and puts his hands on your face. You then do something you wanted to do for a long time; kiss him. He kisses back almost immediately, but you know he is propably shocked. ''I never stopped thinking about you'' he says and your kiss is broken. ''Did you ever love me?'' you say and look straight to his eyes. ''I never stopped'' he says and you chuckle. You kiss again, and Cook wraps his arms around your waist, holding you as close as he can.
