James Cook #10

It was the first day of school. You were kind of nervous, it was new environment, new people, you didn't do well with these things.

You arrived at the building, and you started trying to find your friends before the bell rang.

You feel someone tap on your shoulder, and you turn around to realise, it's a guy you find really attractive, with his friends around him. ''You seem a bit lost'' he says, smirking. ''Yeah, I, no, I'm not, I'm just trying to find my friends, haven't succeeded yet'' you say, nervously. ''Well, let me help you!'' he says again. Something feels weird in him, but you like it. You're thinking about it, when the guy whose name you didn't know yet was sending away his friends. ''I'll see you later'' he tells them. ''Come this way'' he says and you nod following him.

''My name is Cook btw, I mean, my name is James, but everyone calls me Cook'' he says, smirking again. ''Y/N'' you say, shyly.

While you were walking, you started talking. You found out you had some things in common, even though you seemed to be different. You thought he was flirting a little bit, and you didn't know how to feel about that.

He seemed to be like those boys who just messed with a girl until they slept with her and then dump her, so you weren't sure of how to respond, as you wanted to stay away from these people. You liked him though.

''Y/N!'' you hear someone yell your name. It's your friend, and you feel relived you finally found her. ''I've been searching for you!'' she says when she comes and hugs you. Cook just sits there awkwardly, and your friend kind of shows you she's waiting for an introduction. ''Oh this is [instert friend's name] and this is Cook'' you say, and the situation just gets more uncomfortable. ''Well, we'll meet again Y/N, we're not done'' Cook says and before he goes away, he gives you a kiss on the cheek, seeming proud of that.

''We didn't even get here and you already got a boyfriend?'' your friend says playfully. ''He's not my boyfriend, stop'' you say, but can't help but smile.

At that moment, the bell rang, and you got together to where the students were supposed to go.
