Nathan walks into his house and lays down on his bed and goes to sleep. After a long while of pacing, she finally laid onto her "bed", regretting everything that happened at the coffee shop. She was wide awake before the sun rose. She was not looking forward to school. Nathan probably spread so many rumors about her that it puts wildfires to shame. Nathan slides on a blood red hoodie, blood red pants, blood red handkerchief, and a red hat. Trying to forget everything, Hailey decides to get dressed in a blue hoodie with a huge pocket, gray boots, and black leggings, and her hair was down, showing off the curly, brown to turquoise ombre she did about a few months ago, right before school started.

Nathan gets to school and two kids walk up to him and punch him to the ground. Hailey looks up and sees Nathan on the ground and two kids taunting him and beating him.

"Hey! Stop!" Hailey yells at them and stands right in front of them. "What do you think you're doing? Leave!" The boys walk away laughing. Hailey tries to control her anger as she turns around to look at Nathan. "Hey, you OK?" Nathan gets up.

"Yeah I'm fine." Nathan stands up and there is no blood nor bruising.

Hailey sighs in relief and glares in the direction the boys left. "I hate people like that. They think they just can do whatever they want," Hailey growls.

"It's fine. I don't really mind them it's no different then what happened to me in Beijing China, Washington DC, Ottawa, Canada, and Moscow, Russian." Nathan says wiping his pants off. "Wait. So you're telling me this is normal for you?" Hailey asks in disbelief.

"Yeah. So what." Nathan responds calmly.

Hailey stares at Nathan incredulously. "What do you mean, 'So what'? That's not right!"

"Neither is the government, life, and society." Nathan responses picking up his things.

Hailey shrugs. "Well, you do have a point."

John runs up from the school to Nathan. "Hey, are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine you know me it takes more than just some bullies bro."

Beth and Mirra come up to Hailey. "Come on, we gotta get going. I can't afford another tardy," Mirra explains and starts dragging Hailey away to the school. Nathan falls to the ground lifelessly. Hailey gasps and struggles out of Mirra's grasp. Hailey runs up to Nathan.

"N-Nathan? Oh God. You OK?"

A man in a white lab duster walks up to Nathan and sticks a serum into him. Nathan jolts up "Ahh." Nathan shouts.

Hailey steps back and stares at the man. "What did you do?"

"I am Walter Drain. I just did that because my son blacks out at random say every week or so. So I inject the serum, and he wakes back up."

Hailey stares at him in awe. "The famous scientist? Nathan's dad . . . ? OH MY GOD!! I am a huge fan! I love your work."

"Don't flatter him; you'll never hear the end off it." Nathan says as he gets back up.

"I can't help it. I'm a sucker for science," Hailey says helplessly.

"You two should get to class," Walter says as he gets back into the limo and drives off.

Hailey watches as the limo speeds down the road. "Well, that just happened."

Mirra walks back up to Hailey and drags her off to English class, saying, "I'm not gonna hear the end of this, am I?" Mirra receives a negative as they disappear behind the school's front doors, Beth following them.
