"Damnit what the hell," Nathan exclaims.
Hailey stares at him before lowering her eyes and keeps typing. "Sorry."
Nathan looks at his surroundings "Oh crap, I'm in a library." Hailey looks up at Nathan, confused.
"Yeah, you are. Why? Do you need directions somewhere?" Hailey offered.
"No I was being load." Nathan walks outside.
Hailey stares for a few moments before slowly drifting her gaze back to the computer. "Ok."
Nathan gets kicked through a window by the kids that hurt him earlier. Hailey's head shoots up from the computer, hearing a huge crash. Without warning her boss where she was going, she rushed out the door and saw the kids laughing at a broken window. She walked over and saw Nathan laying in the broken shards.
Nathan gets back up and tackles the kids to the ground. "Why can't you just leave me alone, you sick fucking bastards. First you humiliate me, then you beat me up until I blacked out, then you vandalized my house and killed my dog, and now you vandalise public property using my body. I've had it." Nathan punches both of them unconscious.
Hailey glares at the kids unconscious on the ground, and using her powers, surrounds them in a turquoise aura and throw their bodies into a dumpster across the road. "Get dunked on," Hailey whispers.
"I'm sorry you had to see that," Nathan says as he stands up. Hailey looks up, surprised. She completely forgot he was there.
"U-um . . . Gotta go!" Hailey says fearfully and runs into the library, grabs her things, and runs out the back door.
Nathan walks to his house and flops down onto his bed.
Hailey keeps walking down the alley behind the library and turns into an even more foreboding one. Water puddles were scattered sporadically and water dripped from the pipes. She finally came across a mattress nestled by a dumpster. She laid down and used her jacket as a blanket. Home, sweet home.
