Monday morning, my dad dropped me off at my new school Mallory High before driving off to work.
I walked into the office and gave in my name receiving my schedule for the day. I hate being the new kid, I got a lot of looks from strangers and everything just felt so awkward. I walked down the hall to my locker and opened it up to take some of my book out until I felt someone's hands over my eyes. I was startled at first;

"Eddie!"

"Aw! How'd you know it was me?" He said sounding disappointed

"How could I not?! It's not like some stranger's gonna come up and play peekaboo with me!"

"Haha! Point taken"

We joked and laughed and as usual, pretty much spent most of the morning together, we had our first few classes of Business and Finance together then met up back at my locker where Eddie informed that he wouldn't be joining me for lunch. My stomach dropped, I felt a bit nervous and anxious for the first time today. I didn't know what to do, I didn't want Eddie to just leave me with, with, I don't know! People I didn't know or didn't bother to get to know. I wanted to ask Eddie where he was going or if I could come with but he beat me to it with a fist bump.
"See ya!" And he disappeared leaving me there in the middle of nowhere.

I grabbed my lunch and took a breath You can do this Prim and walked towards the lunch court.

There were teenagers filing in and crowding the whole court, a couple making out at one table, a bunch of girls cramped around a table gossiping, a few guys cheering and laughing out loudly. I noticed all of this before finding myself in a quiet and lonely corner, somewhere away from all the noise. I know a few people were looking at me and shooting me weird glances but I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched, something about the air was familiar. Is it just me orr? And then I saw him, a few tables away from mine, staring at me, his stormy eyes holding me hostage and for the second time, he smiled. I felt warm in my cheeks, should I smile back? Every action has an equal and opposite reaction - Issac Newton. And before I could think twice I caught myself smiling, noticing his face light up by this gesture.

I nibbled on my tuna sandwich and then felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up to see Eddie. His blond hair all over the place and a few unbuttoned loops in his shirt.
I smiled back at him feeling relieved and he slipped into the seat next to mine.

"Hey, where'd you wonder off to?" I asked sarcastically

He gave me a look "Nowhere?"

We stare at each other for a moment before he grabs the tuna sandwich off my palm and chucks it into his mouth, munching away as I stared at him with my jaw dropped and my eyes wide.
As Eddie notices my incredulous look, his lips turn up into a smirk and then a huge grin.

"EDDIE!"

"PRIMROSE!" He winks

"You never steal a girls tuna!" I narrowed my eyes at him

Eddie just sits there, casually bringing his hands behind his neck, still grinning.

"What?!"

"Nothing"

"Tell me!" I snapped

"No!" He mimicked me

"Yes!"

"Nope" he sings

"Now!"

"Never!"

"Aaargh! You're so freaking impossible d'ya know that?!"

Eddie falls down laughing with his hand on his stomach.
