Stupid school! Stupid History class! Stupid teachers! Stupid books! Stupid life! Uurgh...everything is just so"Stupid?" I jump and turn to my left to see Chris leaning against a locker with a smirk on his face. I didn't realize I was saying it out loud.
"Did I scare you flower?" He says, sounding amused
I give him a withering look "Don't ever call me that"
"Alright" he raises his hands in surrender
I look down at my schedule and there's a sudden urge to run out the door when I see my next class is Geography. I roll my eyes and lean my head against my locker, feeling depressed, I'd already had an awful first period with History and then I remembered we were supposed to watch a documentary on Earthquakes and Volcanoes.
"Are you okay?" I look up at Chris forgetting he was even there
"I'm okay. I got Geo, see you around...I guess" and that was the last thing I said before walking towards my doom.
I sat at my desk as Mr Fidick gave us a brief explanation on our topic with main points to observe. So we began with the case study on St. Helens sudden volcanic eruptions, which was quite interesting until we moved on to the case study on Japan 2011, one of the most disastrous tsunamis.
My eye lids were heavy by this point, but I kept blinking profusely every time my eyes tried to betray me.
Ten minutes later my face was face flat against the wooden desk, my cheek cold and I smelt wood. My eyes quickly catch a pair of amused eyes staring straight at me and I sprung back to my seat, straightening my spine. I looked back at the blond and he winked at me causing my cheeks to flush. I looked back at the screen and watched water dissolve the earth beneath it."Pretty boy hasn't kept his eyes off you" said a female voice from my right. I whipped my head around to find a cute girl with strawberry blond curls and hazel eyes look into my blue ones.
"I'm sorry what?" I said, confused
"Hi! I'm Kristen!" She said holding her hand out
"Primrose. You can call me Prim" I replied in reciprocate, shaking her hand
Our class was dismissed and I walked back to my locker with Kristen by my side. She seemed like a nice open girl, my opposite and she sure was good company.
"Oh.My.Freaking.God! That was an amazing documentary! Did you see how that earthquake just split everything in half!? That was just phenomenal."
And she was also a nerd. I nodded at her comment still feeling like I wanted to crawl up in a corner and sleep.
"What would you do if we experienced an earthquake right now?" She asked
"Sleep..." Was my only reply
"Are you kidding Prim? Would you even sleep knowing the fact that Ian Reynolds had his eyes on you the whole time!?"
"No. And who?" She rolled her hazel eyes
"Ian Reynolds! The hottest guy in this school, after Will Pecker of course"
"I noticed, aaaand I'm not interested" I said, spotting Chris across the hall with a cheerleader linked onto his friend Jaden by his side.
I was cut off when the same blond turned up in front of me cutting off whatever Kristen was about to say. Kristen was right, he was hot. With his emerald eyes, bulky shoulders, blond hair that fell over his forehead and a devilish smirk.
