Chapter 9

We walk into the lunch room and see the long line of high schoolers waiting for their food. I see j-hope at a table in the back waving at me and v.

I grab v's arm and drag him towards the table, as v and I sat down I steal a glace at Kiley, noticing she's between Yoongi and jimin. I hand her the hot chocolate and send her a perverted smirk.

She glares as she grabs the hot chocolate saying, "You left me all day-" "You said I coul-" "I didn't mean it! I thought you'd back out...anyway, thanks for the hot chocolate. OH! And look!!" She says standing up and pointing to her school uniform, "I got it around nine."

She sits down and smiles at suga, He looks away and starts writing in his notebook again. I sit between v and j-hope. I look at rap monster while everyone eats and listen to him explain what he thinks the meaning of life is.

V nudges me and leans close, whispering in my ear, "If you stare at him any harder, you'll burn holes in his face." And then leans back and looks at me. He looks away as Namjoon groans, "Is anyone even listening to me?"

Jimin sighs, grabbing Kiley's wrist and says, "Kiley and I are going to the library before class starts." I look questioningly at v before I hear suga say, "She hasn't eaten all of her food. She's staying here." I look back at them, seeing jimin holding Kiley's left wrist while suga was holding her right wrist, still writing in his notebook.

I stand up, walk over to them and grab Kiley's waist, and pull her away from both of them. They both stare at me as Kiley and I walk out of the lunch room. As we walk down the hall, I stop at my locker and ask, "What was that..?"

She groans and stomps her foot saying, "Yoongi has been acting like that towards jimin all day. I think it's because I fell on him..." I open my locker and take out my science books. As I close my locker she asks, "So...how your day with v? Did you guys have fun? Kiss?"

I close my eyes and lean on my locker, "No. We did not kiss. But we did have a pretty good time! It was very fun. We ate ice cream and went to the park, then we ate lunch together." Kiley smiles as she says, "That almost sounds like...a date." I roll my eyes and lightly push her.

She laughs as we start walking down the hall, "So what classes do you have?" I ask. "I have math and English with Namjoon, social studies with jin and science with jimin. I have homeroom with Yoongi." "Wow, you're all over the place."

The bell dismissing lunch rang and Kiley says her goodbyes as she practically runs down the hall for her next class. As I walk to my science class I feel someone behind me.

I turn my head and see v a few inches behind me casually staring at my butt. I clear my throat as I turn around completely, catching him off guard. His eyes snap to my face as a small blush dusts his cheeks. "...I was just going to walk to class with you.." he says as he awkwardly scratches the back if his neck.

I nod and say, "That's fine...uhm.. would you care to walk beside me or..?" I question, "No! I'll walk beside you! It's no trouble, honestly!" He practically shouts as he moves beside me. I continue to walk as awkward silence falls over us.

A few seconds later, I hear heavy footsteps running in our direction as someone, j-hope, shouts, "Wait for me!" V and I slowly stop walking, wait for j-hope to catch up.
