Chapter 19

I grab Taehyungs hand and pull him to the ticket booth, we pay for our tickets and put on our weird, purple, paper wrist band things and walk inside the gate. It's 6:30 and the place is still as lively as ever, it's getting darker outside, pretty soon the lights on the Farris wheel will be noticeable.

With V's hand still in mine, I slow our pace down and ask, "What should I ride first!?" "Me." He answers with no hesitation and a serious expression. I stand there, awkwardly, for a few seconds before he laughs and says, "Just kidding! It's only our first date..we should ride the zipper!!"

He pulls me to the line and we wait for ten minutes before finally it's our turn, "Are you the two of you together?" The old man asks completely unamused, "Yes! We're on a date!" V yells all too happily. The man nods his head and sits us in our seats, strapping us in, and closing the door to our compartment.

I notice that V and I are sitting extremely close together, he looks at me and smiles before casually grabbing my hand and placing it between us. When i realize he's not letting go of my hand, the ride starts. We starts moving slowly, our cart swinging back and forth.

He laughs childishly as I squeeze his hand tighter, when the ride started going faster our cart tumbled over once, twice, three times. Our bodies were tossed side to side, back and forth, and up and down. V and I were laughing and screaming having a great time. "This is awesome!!" He yells, I laugh in reply, the adrenaline rush making it so much more exciting.

We harshly bump our heads together, he squeezed my hand a bit and yelled out an apology. The ride slows down, and soon we get off. As we start walking away from the ride, still holding hands, he pulls me to the side and checks my face.

"Uhm..what are you doing?" I ask as his hand slowly caresses my cheek as he looks at my forehead. "There's not a bruise! That's good! It's just a little red... let's eat cotton candy!" He pulls me to the food booth and sees the long line, telling me to sit down.

I walk over to the wooden picnic tables that they have, I sit down and look at all the lights at the fair. It's gotten dark outside, dark enough to see all the pretty stars. My thoughts were interrupted by a voice saying, "You here with your girlfriend?"

I look up to see Sam, "We're not into girls. She was trying to get you to fuck off. Now please, kindly fuck off." I reply. He smiles saying, "So if neither of you are gay..that means I have a chance with you right?"

"No." Says V, in a seriously calm voice. Sam looks at him and says, "Ah..so you two are on a date. How cute."  V hands me the cotton candy and grabs my hand, pulling me away, "I hate that guy.." he mutters. I chuckle as I interlock our fingers, hoping I was doing it casually so he wouldn't notice as much.

That thought was ripped away from me when he gently squeezed my hand. I blush and ask, "So...want some cotton candy?" He smiles excitedly and pulls his hand away from mine saying, "Only if you feed it to me." He playfully winks and I let out a loud laugh, quickly covering my mouth to hide my smile.

He pulls my hand away saying, "Aw! You're cute, and so is your smile! Don't hide it!" I take the  cotton candy and put it in his mouth saying, "I like your smile way more." He eats the cotton candy and grabs my hand again, roughly pulling me towards a game booth. I unfortunately drop the cotton candy on the ground. Damn.

"Don't worry," V starts, "I'll win you that cute little elephant to make up for the cotton candy!" I grin excitedly and hug V yelling, "I absolutely love elephants! You HAVE to win that!!" He hugs back and quickly pulls away, paying the guy at the booth the money to throw the darts to pop the balloons.

Once, twice, three times he misses, before he finally gets the elephant! It's so big and cuddly! I held the elephant to my chest and asked, "What should we name her?" "Hmm... fluffy. Hey! I have these freckles on my thigh, and I can make an elephant out of them! Does that mean you love me too?"

I blush and awkwardly shout, "Fluffy is an amazing name! Hey! Let's go ride the Farris wheel!" He smiles widely and pulls me towards the direction of the large, spinning, wheel.

As we stand in line for the Farris wheel, I couldn't help but to let my new elephant. I was so concentrated on this cute elephant, that I didn't notice it was our turn to get on until v lightly grabbed my arm and gently pushed me into the compartment.

He steps in and grabs fluffy, putting the elephant on the opposite side of him,V smiles and slowly puts his arm around me as the ride starts to move. As we start getting higher, I start to notice the beautiful view. I smile slightly and sigh saying, "It's really pretty out here, rig-" my sentence was cut off by V  smashing his lips into mine.

I was totally shocked! 'Jimin said he would slowly lean in! Does this look like he slowly leaned in? No!' he pulls back quickly saying, "Sorry! Sorry! You just looked really and I couldn't help but kiss you! Oh god..that was your first kiss wasn't it? Oh no! It was! I ruined your first kiss! Taylor I'm sorry! I really am sor-"

"Taehyung!" I shout, he looks at me with big eyes saying, "Yes?" I blush and slowly leaned in again saying, "Kiss me again, you idiot!" He smiles and grabs my cheek, leaning in the rest of the way and slowly captured my lips with his.

He hesitantly pulls away and says, "I almost ruined the moment until you swooped in and took control." I laugh and peck his cheek.
