Marshall's POV
"Fionna?" I shouted into the house, Valencia, Maddison and Matt both looked at me.
I quickly checked all the rooms.
"She told me she would be home." I sighed.
"Don't worry, mate." Matt patted my back.
"Yeah, she probably just went for a walk." Val added, skipping around the room.
"We might as well wait for her, because its raining pretty heavy, she should be home soon anyway." I smiled.
"Oh uh guys... You might want to look at this." Maddison whispered loudly.
I grabbed the letter from her tiny hands and quickly read it.
Matt and Val read it over my shoulder.
"Oh mate.." Matt sighed.
"Look she'll turn up." Maddy added.
"Yeah what Madz' said." Matt smiled, going over to her and hugging her.
Valencia whimpered, I turned around to look at her, her face had gone a shade whiter and her eyes were wide.
"Val?" Maddy questioned.
"This is my fault!" She whimpered
"What do you mean!" I stood up, staring down at her.
"She asked me what I would do if I was in her position, I didn't think she would do anything, I said I would r-run away, I didn't think she would do it, I thought we were just thinking about it, I didn't know!" She shook her head,
"Valencia Saura, how stupid can you get?" I shouted, my eyes demonic.
"Mate.. Calm down.." Matt patted my back.
"No, I won't calm down, Matt!" I hissed. "She is 1021, not five."
"Marshall. She didn't know." Maddison hissed back at me.
"Look, were going to go upstairs." Matt gestured towards himself and Maddy.
I sat down and stared into my hands, why would she leave?
I was interrupted from my thoughts by a rumble from outside,
Thunder
I stared over at the shaking Valencia, her face was paler than before, rocking back and forth in a corner of the floor.
The poor girl was petrified of thunder.
I walked over to her and draped my arm over her shoulders, I began to sing to her an old lullaby
"I'm sorry, Marsh." She sniffed.
"It's okay, Val, I know you didn't mean to." I smiled, down at her.
We sat in silence for a minute.
"You really Love her Marshall, don't you?" She asked.
"Yeah Val, I guess I do." I whispered loudly. "She's just perfect, I dunno.. She's good for me."
"Yeah, she's very good for you." She grinned.
"That's cute.. But where's Fionna?"
A sassy voice interrupted us.
"Cake." I sighed.
"Yeah, why so glum, chum." She smiled.
"Hi Cake." Maddy sang, running down the stairs.
"Hi Doll!" Cake grinned.
"Here." I frowned, handing Fionna's feline sister the note.
"Oh no." She frowned.
"Look lets split up and look for her." I stated, getting up and giving Val a hand up.
"Cake, Maddy and Matt." Go together, as soon as I said that Kelly, Cody and 'Kenzie walked into the room
"We heard about Fionna." Mackenzie smiled sympathetically.
"No time, Val, Kenzie and Cody, you work together."
"What about you?" I heard Val ask.
"I'm going to check some old spots." I smiled. Going over to the door and opening it.
"Meet here at eight." I demanded, lifting my umbrella and heading out the door.
