Something soft and warm batted at my face a few times before a quiet meow rang clear through the silence of the room. With a groan I rolled over a snuggled closer into the blankets, sighing in enjoyment at the warmth that the provided me. I faintly heard the jingle of a bell before the mass of fur headbutted my nose.

"Link... Go away..." I grumbled irritatedly, rubbing my nose and rolling back over, my back now facing the cat who I thought was mine until said cat headbutted the back of my head.

"Link!" I shouted, more annoyed now as I sat up and peered down at the cat before realizing that it looked nothing like my Link. It was an orange tabby with white paws, then the events from last night surfaced into my mind.

"Scooby..." With a sigh I scooped the small cat up into my arms and crawled out of bed, instantly wishing that I had stayed wrapped up in my fortress of warmth. Shivering, I set the cat down on the ground as I made my way into the small bathroom that was attached to the bedroom. Stripping off my clothes I ran myself a nice hot shower.

Seeing as I didn't bring any extra clothes with me, I had no choice but to re-wear the clothes from the previous day. I headed back into the spare room and dug through my bag that I had carried in the night before. Finding that I had a comb and letting out a quiet 'ah-ha!'  of achievement, I quickly ran it through my tangled mess of hair before digging through my bag once again in hopes that I would've had a toothbrush or something. It was a longshot but in the end I found that I had some of those mini toothbrushes in the bag for whatever reason.

Heading back into the bathroom to finish getting ready. I then remembered why I had packed those, it was because I had planned on going out with a few friends, but I also had a job interview right around the same time and didn't have time to go back home and make myself look as presentable as I would've liked, I packed those in my bag. The interview had gone over well but someone else got the position. After finishing the daily routine, I headed downstairs, the scent of something burning instantly flooding my senses and I headed in the direction of where I thought the kitchen was.

"Cooking not going so well for you this morning?" I teased as I walked into the kitchen, careful to not make anymore of a mess.

"Well... I don't usually cook... I just grab something from like a fast food place or something like that in the morning." He rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"Really?" I asked before searching for a mop to clean up the mess that had been made in the kitchen.

"It's in the closet over there, but yes, I have not cooked breakfast in years." He said while grabbing some rags and dampening them with lukewarm water to clean off the countertops.

"Thank you." I said, pulling out the mop, a bucket and a cleaning mixture that went into the water. With a determined smile, I added the cleaning mixture into the bucket and then filled it up with water and began to mop up the floor.

A few minutes had passed by and the kitchen was back to its original clean state. I had even cleaned off Brian's glasses for him while he went to get a shower to rinse the flour out of his hair. I had told him that I would make breakfast instead, that way we wouldn't have another messy kitchen to clean up. I had figured out the menu for this morning would consist of pancakes, hashbrowns and bacon. Cause I mean come on, who doesn't love bacon?

"I'm back." I heard a deep voice mumble from behind me, a small smile slipped onto my face and I turned to face him. A blush creeped up my neck and onto my features as I looked at his choice for clothes today. Which was a shirt that hugged his frame a bit, and a pair of jeans that fit him perfectly. He cleared his throat, breaking me out of the trance I had seemed to be in. With a blush I motioned to the plates filled with food that were on the table. "Breakfast is ready." I managed to say, despite the embarrassment I felt at the moment for checking out my friend. We sat at the table and began to eat.
