I was the morning after and I had school, just great the only good thing was that the performance was tomorrow night and It was Friday.
I ended up saying yes to Angel after all that happened, which is why Teo is mad at me now. But my friend Imoni is teaching me the dance.
I get in the shower and put on a blue half sweater that said 'ion no' and blue sweatpants. I put lotion on and put on my blue 11's.
Then I grabbed my keys and drove to school. When I pulled up my friend Olivia and Imoni was waiting for me.
"Girl you can't give nobody a rode and you got a whip" Olivia said
"I just got it fixed but I'll drive you if you want, how bout you Imoni" I asked she was quiet today
"Yeah after we practice" she siad quietly
"What's up why you so quiet"
"I gotta tell you something later" she replied
"Okay"
We walked in and I felt warm hands on my hips it was Angel, I turned and kissed him.
"Hey Angel" I said holding his hand
"Hey Ni Ni" he replied, he was the only one who called me that
"Are you coming to my performance tomorrow night" I asked when we walked in homeroom
"Hell yea"
Blah blah blah school work
In the car on the way back home
Olivia and Imoni was in the car with me and we were almost at Olivia's house.
"See you tomorrow morning, I'm picking you up" I said as she got out the car
"Okay, tell her" she said to Imoni
We pulled off and I kept looking at Imoni waiting for her to tell me.
We finally made it to my house. I unlocked the door and we went straight to the dance room.
"Okay let me get my speaker" I said leaving
I came back and she was dancing and humming but I know her she was stress dancing which is something that I do.
"Before we start you going to have to tell me whats up" I say, sh stops dancing and looks at me
"Can I ask out Mateo" she said rubbing her arm
I felt like a brick hit my chest, I for got I told her I liked him to.
"Sure what you want my help" I asked, trying to hide my true feeling for her question
"No i just thought it would be shady if I did it without asking you"
I nodded and we started the dance.
By the time we were done I wanted to sit down and die.
"My mom has to do my hair" she says
"Okay you want me to drop you off"
"Nah she picking me up" she said picking up her bag
I walked her to the door where her mom was waiting. I turned on my air conditioner and made a hot pocket.
"Cassie if you don't get your chips off this couch I'm gonna eat them" I said eating them anyway
All the girls came running down the stairs.
"The power is going out" Cashmere yelled obviously scared
Just like that all the power went off. Everybody clung to each other, I turned on my flash light to see Cassie crying.
