I laughed as Nina sung to a song on the radio, she was kicking and screaming.
"You gonna get whip lash" I laughed, she calmed down
She was so happy she made the team, I was too.
We made our way back to Ny'Ome's mother's house, the door was open. The smell of Ny'Ome's perfume hit us, I smirked. I walked upstairs and she was in a bra and underwear set, looking for clothes.
"Put her down in the crib" Ny'ome said putting on her earrings, I sat Niña down
"What you getting all cute for" I laughed
"Not chu" she laughed putting a dress to her body and looking in the mirror
"That's cold man" I laughed
"But nah foreal, game peep game, it was that nigga Mario slipping his number and shit" I said laughing, knowing that my guess was wrong
"How you know" she asked slipping the dress over her thick ass thighs
"About the number? Or the date?"

"You going on a date with him" I said as she check the time on her phone
"Yeah why" she replied fixing the sides of her dress
"I thought we was working us out, man" I said frustrated

I finished getting ready for my date and picked up Nina. We walked to the door and got in the car. Nina learned how to get in her seat and buckle it, she was happy for some reason.
"You wanna listen to music" i smiled fixing my mirrors, she nodded
I threw in my lemonade CD and we drove down the street to Layla's.
"Hol' dup, dey don't wove you" Nina sang, I joined
When we got to the door Layla answered the door.
"Auntie" Nina said reaching for Layla, I put Nina in her arms and handed her a bag.

Layla made me pick up Nina cause she was acting up. I toke her back to my house and texted Ny'Ome telling her I had her, she didn't respond.
I walked in the kitchen and saw Nina with a marker in her hand, she was drawing on my damn walls with a sharpie.

"Nina why are you drawing on my walls" I said sternly
I left her on the couch but somehow she walked all the way in here.
"Sowwy Tay" she cried
"It's okay, okay just stop crying please" I said picking her up, she wiped her eyes and leaned on my shoulder

"Yes I am" I replied placing a kiss on her head
"Otay" she said, I sat her on my bed
"If I let you play a game on my phone will you stay still while I answer the door" I said digging in my pocket, she tapped her chin like she was thinking, nodded. I walked out

I walked to the door and opened it, there stood Ny'Ome. She looked like she had been crying
