You could hear laughter everywhere. Old couples were sitting on the benches, lillte kids were running around and teenage couples whispered sweet things to each other.

"Alexandria! "I could recognize this sweet voice everywhere.

I put the book that I was reading down and looked at my best friend.

"Cara " I run towards her and gave her one of my best bear hugs.

What can I say. I'm a hugger.

"I missed you so much. "

"I did too Cara. "

We pulled back and looked at each other.

"Sooooo?" I said.

"So what. "She asked giving me one of her innocent looks.

That little. She knows what I'm talking about. I thought.

I fake pouted and looked at her with teary eyes.

"You aren't going to tell me about you and Christopher? "

"That trick does not work with me Alexandria. "

Huffing I took my things and started walking.

I could hear my best friend's laughter.

"Alexandria, come back. "

She run towards me while laughing.

"Things are going well with Christopher. But.. "

"But what? I thought you liked him? "

"I don't know. I don't think he is the one. "

Coming into a sudden hault I looked at her and screamed.

"THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE. "

"Shhhhhhhhh. Stop yelling. "

"You met someone else, didn't you? "

I was sure she did. The only time she starts questioning her love life is when she meets someone new.

"Who is he? Is he cute? Does he come from a nice family? Do I know him? "I started shooting all these questions.

Let me tell you one thing about my beloved friend. She has an amazing taste in clothes and men.

"Ughhh. Fine. I'll tell you. But I beg you not to tell anyone. "

"Cara, we know each other since we were in diapers. You know you can trust me. "

"Well, he is a she. " My best friend looked at me like I would yell at her and act like she was sick.

"Well? "I asked a little impatiently.

"Well what? " She asked a little confused.

"Who is she? Is she cute? Does she come from a nice family? Do I know her? " I asked once again with the hope this time my questions will be answered.

"Alexandria. "My beat friend's voice came in a whisper.

"Yes? "I looked at her and my heart broke.

She was crying.

I pulled my friend's hand and started running to our park. The place where we used to play when we were younger.

When we finally reached the park we sat on the grass.

I put our hand bags and my book aside and looked at her.

I cupped her face and looked her in the eyes.

"My dear Cara, why are you crying. Eyes like yours should never shed tears. "
