The beach was fun. Our plans pulled through and everyone ended up at my place, either drunk and confused or tired and out of it.

It's been 3 months since that day and Seth and I are still stronger than ever until.....
The school bell rings and everyone starts heading towards their classes. Why do thy call Monday Monday? They should've made an acronym about how it's a terrible day because we either have to go back to work or to school. It would be like a warning, but sadly, we just get Monday.
I walk into chemistry and take a seat. Barely half the class is full, but knowing there was a big party the night makes sense. Good thing Seth and the rest of my friends didn't go. Parties just cause trouble and there's not really any point because we keep to ourselves.
"Morning class." Mrs. Wood greets with a cheery attitude.
We just reply with soft mutters of hellos or good mornings. "Okay, seeing that we aren't feeling ourselves today and almost half the class is absent, today's a free day. Work on notes, missing work, or use your phone, but don't leave the class." She instructs.
We all nod in appreciation. Yes, no lecture, no notes, but what am I going to do for the next 2 hours?
I decide to text Seth, but as I was about to take out my phone, the door opens. It's the principal and behind him is a slightly shorter girl compared to me. She has platinum colored hair, brown eyes, and is wearing one of the most inappropriate outfits. Are you kidding me? It's freezing cold. Even I'm wearing leggings, a white long sleeve with a jumper over it with combat boots. I was even debating to wear a scarf, but decided against it because I clearly do not match.
But this girl was way off. Maybe she thought she was going to California? I mentally laugh at that suggestion.
"Good morning principal, who's this?" Mrs. Wood asks.
"Good morning, Liza. This is Vanessa Hughes. She's transferred back from Florida." He answers.
She's used to go here, but she recently came back from Florida. Still doesn't explain her attire, but then again maybe she's been gone for a long time and forgot what Valley Point was like?
Okay I have to stop suggesting stupid things.
"Okay, class. This is Vanessa Hughes. She'll be joining your class and I hope you welcome her." Mrs. Wood introduces.
Half of the class isn't even paying attention so Mrs. Wood just returns to her work and I get back to trying to text. Apparently, Vanessa chose to sit next to me and make conversation.
"Hi, I'm Vanessa." She greets. I can see she's disgusted by my warm outfit. Um, it's stylish and appropriate. Better than your rags for clothes.
"I'm Angelika." I nod.
"Are you new here?" She asks.
"You're one to talk, you just got here." I raise an eyebrow.
"I moved during my sophomore year due to...... complications." She vaguely explains.
"I left Valley's Point before high school."
She nods. "So who do you hang out with?" She asks.
"My boyfriend and we have the same group of friends." I reply. "Are you going to hang out with your old friends from before you left?" I ask.
She nods again. "Most likely, but I'll probably be with my boyfriend and his friends."
"You have a boyfriend here? Cool, who?" I ask.
