An eventful day

I woke up in the most awkward position, my feet where on the pillow and I was hanging off the bed. I scrunched my face as the sun shined angrily in my face. It's been three days already here... I sat up and looked around the room, I jumped out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my hair and teeth, I put on a sundress and wondered to the door. I opened it up and girls and boys filled the hallway crowding around someone. I walked a bit closer and saw they were crowding Raj. He had a party hat on and was all smiles.
"Happy birthday Bhai!" The one girl yelled out. Raj looked my way and smiled.
"Hey Meera!" He said through the chaos. Everyone grew silent and they slowly turned around to face me. I smiled and they ran over to me and crowded me. They hit me with a hundred questions.
"So when did you guys hook up?"
"Was it love at first sight?"
"How did he steal your heart?"
"When are you guys getting married?"
I stood shocked by the questions that came flying at me. Raj pushed through everyone and bumped right into me. He smiled and I blushed, he shushed everyone and it became quiet.
"This is Meera." He said wrapping his arm around my shoulder. Everyone smiled at me and I awkwardly tried to get out of Raj's grasp. I felt myself blushing uncontrollably.
"She is my neighbor, and best friend. We are nothing more." He said squeezing my arm a bit. Wait! Best friend? Since when! He finally dropped his arm from my shoulder and everyone just stared at me.
"They are?" I whispered so only Raj heard.
"My siblings." He sighed out.
"This is Anshuman, Mohini, Rahul, Raina, Arush, Divya, And Kabir." He said pointing to each one of his siblings. They were all older, maybe even older then us.
"Know what today is?" Mohini said with a sequel in her voice.
"What?" I said smiling.
"Raj's birthday!" She said excited and ran off. Everyone followed behind her and it was just me and Raj. He smiled at me and I returned one to him.
"Happy birthday." I said smiling.
"Thank you." He replied with a twinkle in his eyes. There I go again! Getting lost in his eyes and being so out of it when I'm with him.
"Come on" he said grabbing my hand and walking down the stairs. Bolts of electricity entered my body making me blush. What was he doing to me! We walked into the beautiful kitchen and he still held onto my hand.
"Just friends huh?" Anshuman said with a smirk as he walked past us. Raj let go of my hand and chased Anshuman outside. Kabir, Rahul, and Arush followed them outside and I was left inside with Raj's sisters. They were whispering about something, most likely me.
"So are you guys dating?" Raina said crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.
"No, we are just friends" I said sliding into a seat at the kitchen table. They weren't convinced. I just kept looking at them as they whispered. Their expressions changed and they looked like they were holding in something. Then I felt cold water running down my hair and back. I turned around to Raj with a popped water balloon.
"WATER BALLOON FIGHT!" Kabir yelled running into the house and throwing them at his sisters. Everyone ran outside including Raj and I. I was getting him back for what he did. I chased him around the huge backyard as he chased his sisters. I finally caught up and threw one right at him, it exploded in his face and I laughed. He started running after me and I darted. I hid behind a tree and didn't think he saw me. As I peered around the corner, a hand grabbed me and turned me around. It was Raj. He placed his arms on each side of me and I couldn't move. He lowered closer to my face and his lips were hovering over mine. I met his eyes and they twinkled. I felt my face start to burn up as he moved even closer to me. I didn't realize it but I was moving closer to him as well. Just when our lips where about to meet, Divya intruded us.
"Over here!" She yelled and his brothers and sisters came running over to us. Raj dropped his arms and stood next to me against the tree. I blushed as Divya smirked at me. Raj and his brothers raced inside and I slowly followed Raj's sisters. I kept hearing them say that Raj and I would make a cute couple making me smile. We walked inside and a maid was cleaning up the water mess we made. I couldn't stop thinking about how Raj and I almost kissed.
"Hey, my birthday party is tomorrow and I want to buy you a new dress... My treat?" Raj said snapping me out my thoughts.
"O...o....okay." I stuttered out as he took my hand and we walked out of the house. Again with the hand! We walked too a garage and in it were all the most expensive cars you could think of! He picked a white BMW to drive and we jumped in. He drove to a store that I never heard of and we went inside. I walked around looking at all the dresses, I found one I really liked and picked it up. I looked at the price tag and almost fainted at the price.
"That's pretty, try it on." Raj said from behind me.
"Raj, it's eight hundred dollars." I said shocked.
"So? Try it on." He said and took me to where the dressing room were. How he knew this store so well I can't tell you. I walked in and locked the door. I put the dress on and looked in the mirror. It was gorgeous, I loved it! I walked out of the dressing room and saw Raj standing against the wall playing on his phone.
"Raj?" I said getting his attention. He dropped his phone and his jaw dropped. He looked at me with such a look my stomach did flips. He walked over to me and looked at the dress closely.
"Stunning... Absolutely stunning." He said and smiled at me. I blushed.
"This is the one." He said smiling.
"This is the one." I said agreeing with him. He smiled even bigger and I went to change. We went to the register and he paid for the dress, when we got in the car I wanted to talk to him about earlier so bad... But I couldn't... I wonder if he feels the same about me... Maybe it was just a moment... I don't what it was... But all I know is that... I've fallen in love with Raj.
