Love birds

"I can walk you know" I giggled as Raj picked me up.
"Nope, my babies needs to rest." He said walking towards the house.
"Raj, I'm not even that pregnant yet" I said and he shook his head.
"You need to build up your strength so when your bigger you can do it" he said laughing a bit.
"Raj!" I said hitting his chest and laughing along with him. When I told Raj I was pregnant the smile wouldn't leave his face. Then we left Mexico really early the next day. We got home yesterday and today we are going to my parents and his to talk about some things with them. The engagement and stuff. According to Raj's siblings, my parents and his are getting along well. So I'm currently being carried to my front door, not to mention I'm wearing a saree.
"Put me down" I said to Raj who was not paying any attention to me.
"Raj!" I said hitting his chest.
"We are almost at the door, calm your self baby" he said. That word. Baby. When ever he calls me that I blush. Now we are going to have a baby. The thought of starting my own family made me smile. We reached the doors of my parents house and Raj finally put me down. He rung the door bell and wrapped his arm around my waist. The door opened a few seconds later and Gina was standing there. Why? I don't know.
"Hey" she said squealing and pulled me into a hug. She released her arms around me and looked at Raj.
"Didn't I tell you to be good?" She said crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow at him. Raj's face was bright red and he grabbed me wrapping his arms around me and snuggling his head in my neck. I couldn't but laugh because of how embarrassed he gets.
"Come on in love birds" Gina laughed and Raj unwrapped his arms from around me. I grabbed his hand and we walked into the kitchen. My mom and Raj's mom were cooking something. My dad was sitting at the table talking to Raj's while downing some scotch.
"Hey guys" I said getting their attention.
"Meera! Your just in time for dinner!" My mom said scurrying over to me and kissing my forehead.
"Mom" Raj said giving his mother a hug.
"Where is everyone" Raj said looking around for his siblings.
"They have been in the basement all day" my mom said smiling and giving Raj a motherly hug. My mom always really liked Raj, it was my dad who wanted to kill him.
"Oh, Meera come on" he said taking my hand and like two little kids we raced down stairs. When we reached I almost fell but Raj didn't let me. All of his siblings heads turned to us and regret filled Raj's face.
"Stud" his brothers said and came running over to Raj tackling him to the ground while I moved away from the chaos. Meanwhile Neha, Mohini, Divya, and Raina started towards me. The smiled viscously  at me when they were close.
"So" Mohini started staring at me up and down.
"He got you knocked up" Raina said and I blushed. Now I know how it feels to be really embarrassed. I swear, I can never tell if his sisters are trying to be mean or nice!
"How many people know?" I said worried my parents knew from another source.
"Us, his brothers, Gina, and... yeah" Neha said smiling. I felt a bunch of relief wash over me and smiled at them.
"We'll tell them today" I heard a voice next to me say. I looked over and saw Raj with his brothers behind him like a gang. Raj walked over to me and grabbed my hand. He gave me a kiss and I smiled, he was mine. I was his.
"Gross, get a room." Anshuman said and we laughed.
"Now or never" Raj said and he motioned for everyone to go upstairs. We walked ahead of Everyone and I was nervous to tell them about it, but Raj? I couldn't tell, he looked excited but his body language told me otherwise. When we were standing in the kitchen, I froze but plastered on a smile.
"Mama papa?" I said grabbing my parents attention along with Raj's.
"We have something to tell you guys" Raj's said holding my hand tighter.
"We want to go through with the engagement as soon as possible" I started but of course my mother had to cut me off.
"Oh honey! That's wonderful!" My mom said clapping her hands.
"And" Raj said and my moms face dropped a bit.
"And" she said lowering her hands.
"I'm... Pregnant" I said closing my eyes. I knew that I would open my eyes and my parents would be so mad that their faces would be red with anger and they would start a scolding Raj and I. I felt Raj shake my hand and I slowly opened my eyes, everyone in the room looked excited except one person. Raj's Dad.
"That means we have to have the engagement and then right after it have you guys married" Raj's mom said walking over to us smiling.
"Haan ma" Raj said as she kissed his forehead.
"I would like to talk to you Raj" my dad said standing up and walking over to Raj grabbing his shoulder.
"Sure sir" Raj said a bit scared but very confident.
