Chapter 7 - A Disaster

Harley's POV
"Harley, why do you have to go killing all my men?" The joker says.
"Don't blame me, puddin! You're the one that killed him, remember?"
"But you distracted him with your looks! he was paying good money" he pouts.
A giggle slips out my mouth.

I slam the door of the Lamborghini and we drive, speeding round the corners.

Suddenly, there was a huge loud bang coming from on top of the car.
"Looks like we've got company" The Joker laughs.
There was a black figure with a cape chasing behind him. Batman.
"Pesky bats, you're ruining date night!" I shout as I grab the gun and shoot upwards.

Suddenly, the Lamborghini goes faster and faster and we're heading for the sea.
"Puddin" I nervously say, "puddin, I can't swim!" I shout at the top of my lungs before the cold water splashes into my mouth.

I'm stuck in the car, I try to struggle but the black figure is coming closer and closer. Damn it.

Joker's POV
I turn to look behind me, hoping that Harley was there, but she wasn't.
I start to worry. Then I see batman carrying her. Carrying her.
My eyes widen as the insides of me burn with jealously and anger. How dare he touch her.

I jump off of the building and run up behind him. I punch him around the head and start to laugh crazily. It's hard to control.

Harley's POV
I take a huge gulp of air to see batman passed out on the floor.
The Joker looks up to me, "let's go, baby."
He tightly grabs my hand and I jump off of the car.

A helicopter is above us and the ladders swing for us to jump on. It's Joker's gang.
We climb up safely as I watch the police cars pull up close to the building.
"Shouldn't of messed with us-" I get cut off as the helicopter crashes on the side of a building.
We look behind to see half the helicopter cut off. The alarms were blaring.

"We've got a problem!!" One of the guys shouts.
"Okay, baby" he continues, "it's just you and me."
I nod as I smile weakly.
We grab on tight to each other's hand as I kiss him on the cheek.
"Let's do it, puddin" I say.
"On three.. Two.. One!" The Joker shouts.
We jump off of the helicopter.
My hair was chasing behind me as the wind made my cheeks cold. We crashed down onto a building.
"We did it!!" I laugh.
"Yeah. We did it, darlin."
He leans towards me and presses his lips against mine.
I smile, "you're so sweet, Mr J."
He smiles back at me, showing his shining silver teeth.

As I get up, I brush the dust off of my clothes. I focus on The Joker, "Let's go home, harls."
