Chapter 14

6 months later

Lexi's POV

"Denis we have to go to the doctors for my appointment!" I yell.

"I'm coming babe" he says.

I'm 6 months pregnant with a baby girl. Denis is so excited to be a father. I know that he's going to be a wonderful father.

"Are you ready?" He asks.

"Yeah let's go" I say.

We walk into the car and he opens the passenger door for me. I put on my seat belt and he starts to drive. We arrive at this doctors and we sit in the waiting bay.

"Lexi Cassells?" I hear the doctor say.

I get up and walk over to the room.

"How have you been?" She asks.

"I've been alright, but I still have morning sickness" I say.

"That's normal. Now let's have a look at your baby" she says.

She puts the cream on my stomach and it is quite cold. I look over at the screen and see my little girl. Denis grabs my hand and kisses it.

"That's our baby" I say.

"We're going to be a family" he smiles.

"She looks really heathy and everything looks great" the doctor says.

She wipes of the cream and I put my shirt back down.

"Thank you" I say.

"I'll see you again in about 2 months just for another check up" she says.
I nod and walk out with Denis.

"Lex?"

"Yes Denis?" I ask.

"I love you, you know that don't you?" He says.

"Yes of course and I love you too. Is there something wrong?" I ask.

"I have to go on tour.." He says.

"When?" I start to tear up.

"In a week"

"Really Denis? Why didn't you tell me this before?! What if something goes wrong with the baby?! I can't do this by myself!!" I cry.

"I only just found out this morning. It'll only be for a month. Nothing will go wrong, you're amazing and perfect. You can handle this baby" he says.

"I'm sorry i got upset, I'm just scared"

"The baby will be okay" he says.

"It's not just about the baby" I sigh.

"What else is it?" He looks concerned.

"What if you do something?" I say.

"Lex, I would never cheat on you. You're the love of my life and I would never hurt you" he says.

"I love you" I say.

"I love you too" he kisses me.

He starts the car and we drive home. I don't live with James anymore. After we found out I was pregnant we bought a house. It's quite a large house. It has two lounge rooms, a formal one and another where the Xbox and the PlayStation is. We have a kitchen and dining room. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I love our house and the man I'm in with. I must have fell asleep because I woke up in our bed.

I get out of bed and Denis is no where to be seen. I walk into the lounge room and hear Denis talking to someone. I move closer so I can hear the conversation.
