Sometimes You Fall (Denis Stoff)

Chaper 22

Lexi's POV

I was making dinner for Denis because he comes home from tour in an hour. Lizzie is 1 now and her first word was mumma. Denis did feel a bit left out but she did eventually say dadda. I was pregnant with a boy and his name is Liam Alexander Shaforostov.

"Mumma." Lizzie says.

"Hello baby." I kiss her forehead.

She's sitting on the lounge playing with her toys. Liam was in his bouncer. I'm making spaghetti with a tomato sauce. I get the bowls out and set the table. I feel someone pulling at my pants, I look down and see Lizzie. She's just learned how to crawl. Denis got a few days off, so he was there when Liam was born and when Lizzie started speaking.

I pick her up and swing her around. She starts to giggle and so do I. I put her in her chair and Liam in his. I get the bread out of the oven and cut it. I feel someone's arms wrap around my waist, I turn around and see Denis. I jump into his arms and kiss him passionately.

"I missed you so much beautiful."

"I missed you too."

I kiss him again and he puts me down. I dish up our food and sit them in the table. I'm so happy that he's home. Now we can be together again with our children.

Denis' POV

I missed Lexi so much. I hated being away from her for that long. I miss Lizzie and Liam. But I have 8 months off now so I can be with my family. I tuck in Lexi's chair and kiss her head.

I sit in front of her and feed Lizzie. Lexi feeds Liam and he starts to laugh. I'm so happy, this is everything I've always wanted. I married the love of my life and I have two adorable children. It couldn't get any better than this.
