Start a new hobby
Matty had come to the conclusion that I wasn't in the mood to actually go back inside there and that there was no need for me to share this with other people who I didn't know since I didn't even tell that my best friend. I was lucky that I had a great friend like Matty and couldn't stop smiling about how cute he was afterwards. He had bought both of us a large cup of frozen yogurt with sweets and fruits and then we went home to watch a movie. I forgot the name of the movie but it was really funny to watch the new married couple trying to fix there house and it only falls apart even more. We had a blast of time and I forgot that I was crying only hours ago. This morning I had received a text from Tracy asking if she should come over and I gladly accepted it. After I had talked to Matty I had decided to tell Tracy everything. I didn't want to make her mad for no reason and also I wanted to finally face my fears. I wasn't ready to talk with my dad about that yet but ready to involve my best friend. I was pacing around my living room when the ball rang and I practically sprinted over to the door. When I opened it my mood actually sank when I saw that Tracy had brought Ky along. She pulled me into a hug and spoke up before I was able to complain "Before you say anything: Ky is just here to hang out with Matty. No need to complain, we will be all alone! I want to prove to you that I can also be without Ky." I laughed before hugging Ky too. I didn't have anything against Ky, or that he and Tracy were dating or that he had come along but today I was supposed to tell everything to Tracy and I wasn't ready yet to tell everything Ky. I turned around towards the staircase which lead up to Matty's apartment and shouted "Matty! Ky is here!" Then I turned back around towards the happy couple and told Ky "I believe he is upstairs, so just go there, I am sure you know the way." Then I grabbed Tracys wrist, yanking her behind me up the stairs leaving Ky alone in the hallway. When we arrived in my room we let us both fall down onto the bed and stayed silent for a few seconds. Then I turned my head to the right side staring at the side of Tracy's head. When she recognized I was looking over she turned her head also and met my gaze. "Want to tell me what was going on yesterday?" she asked. I nodded "Not only that. I think I am finally ready to talk about the things going on with... HER." I couldn't say her name but Tracy knew who I was talking about. She waited for me to continue and so did I "Look. Yesterday the woman at the help group asked me nearly the same that you did and all the emotions and memories came back, all at one. It was nearly unbearable and so I ran out. Outside I burst out into tears and when Matty tried to comfort me I decided that it was finally time to tell somebody. You had guessed it all the years, that the sudden change in my family, my decision not to attend college and my sudden need for a shopping- and party-life had something to do with the death of my mother and you were right. When she died - as you may remember - my father had shut me out of his life almost completely. And even though you were there I still needed my parents and because she was dead I needed my father to be there for me. But he never was! That ruined me and that he didn't help me with the college applications... you know I didn't see the sense behind all of that anymore when even my own father didn't believe into me anymore. It was a stupid decision and I regret it but at this time.... For gods sake I was eighteen and just finished high school!" I didn't even recognize that my voice had raised and I was nearly shouting, throwing my arms around like a maniac until Tracy calmed me down pulling me into a hug. "I knew it the entire time and I guess you knew that I knew but I am happy that you finally decided to tell it to me by yourself. And I am sure your dad is really sorry for the way he acted! That is the reason why he is trying his best right now and asked Matty for his help. He would never do something that hurts you just to make himself happy! I know you aren't ready just yet to talk to your father about all of that but as soon as you are you should do that okay? I don't want to see you hurt!" I nodded and we parted again. "Let's get a tea!" I suggested and Tracy was all up for the idea so we made our way downstairs. When we waited for the boiling water to be done the two boys walked into the kitchen a smile on their lips. "You look like you came up with a new idea!" I groaned not really up for any of Matty's plans. They nodded before Ky answered "We did! We thought it would be fun to spend some time together apart from grabbing food and watching movies. So we went on the internet and saw this super cool ad about yoga classes! It is three avenues down from here and we think it would be really cool. So why don't you and Tracy get some of your yoga outfits that you never used and we will meet down here in ten minutes?" At first Tracy and I protested but then the boys somehow managed to convince us and to be honest: it didn't sound to bad at all.

I couldn't believe we were actually about to do that. Since the boys were the entire time dressed in sweatpants and a plain t-shirt they didn't had to change anymore but Tracy and I changed our skirts into Victoria's Secret Yoga Pants and grey tops. Currently we were walking into the huge gym and headed towards the counter in the entrance area. I was pretty sure it would look ridiculous watching the boys doing yoga and so was Tracy but because we didn't do it for quite a while either we diced to keep our mouth shut. Plus it was their idea and if they really wanted to do it, we wouldn't stop them from doing so. The woman told us to wait in a room next to the area and so did we. It was nice and quite peaceful. There were different pictures of the nature - I believed to keep people all calm and relaxed and it smelled nice and fresh - not like the rest of the gym which was all sweaty and smelly. We weren't the only one so we quickly chose a spot in the back and waited until the teacher arrived. When she entered the room all male eyes were on her and even I had to admit that she looked stunning. She had brown, shiny hair which was pulled up into a ponytail, brown eyes that had the perfect shape, red lips and a body to kill for. Her tight workout outfit emphasized that fact only more. Matty and Ky didn't seem to be too interest into her though which Tracy and I happily noticed. She started the lessons and then showed us a combo which we were supposed to repeat and learn while she walked around correcting all of us. Tracy and I did quite a good job and were actually the best participants in the course but couldn't stop laughing when we watched Ky and Matty breaking there bones - or at least that was what it looked like! When Stefania - that was her name - spotted Matty a smirk appeared on her face - one of those disgustingly seductive ones - and she quickly made her way over to him placing both hands on his body to help him do the exercise right while pressing herself against him closing up any space between him. Matty didn't seem to care though because his eyebrows pulled together in somewhat a frown and he stopped the exercise getting up into a straight position. He flashed her a friendly smile "Thanks for the help. But I believe I can manage it from here on by my own." She nodded "Sure you can sweetie! What is your name? I believe you haven't been around before otherwise I would remember you!" No reaction came from Matty though at her attempt to flirt with him ad he just nodded "Yes I am. If you don't mind though, please don't call me sweetie! Just say Matty." The smirk made space for a bitchy look and she just shrugged before walking past me and Tracy over to Ky to try her luck with him. He moved backwards so raising his arms in surrender "Don't even try! My girlfriend is right next to you." That got her whole face expression vanish and with a blank look on her face she looked back and forth between the four of us before walking back into the front. Luckily the rest of the group was still occupied doing the exercise so they didn't notice our short conversation. I moved a bit over to Matty before whispering "That was hilarious! She was all over her and flirted and stuff and you just ignored it and said no! I could still laugh my ass of at the memory of her expression!" Matty chuckled and looked at me "Yeah you are right, it was hilarious! But what else was I supposed to do when I wasn't interested?" My eyes grew in amazement "I can not believe that you really weren't interested in her! I mean just look at her." He shrugged "I wasn't. I am more attracted to the girls who aren't too convinced about the fact that they are looking good. You know those who don't throw themselves at you but still make you go crazy by just their movements!"

"That was hilarious! Even though it didn't go on like expected it was hilarious! I mean how you two rejected her when she was totally into you. Amazing!" Tracy stated when we caught a breath between all the laughing and I nodded my head in agreement. When we were done with the lesson we quickly left the gym and made our way over to the Starbucks on the other side of the street where we were talking about the happenings in the yoga class. When the boys agreed we started laughing again before Tracy's face went serious and she turned towards Ky "Luckily for you that you also added that I am your girlfriend." When Ky turned pale she bursted out in laughter and Matty nudged him with his elbow telling him that it was only a joke. When Ky realized that he let out a breath I couldn't tell he was holding and joined our laughing. I looked at each of them and realized I was happy to have those amazing friends.
How was it even possible? Until two weeks ago I would neither trust anybody except of Tracy nor let anybody but her into my life and here I was with two new friends which were complete strangers two weeks ago and now we were acting and talking like best friends. No actually we were best friends! It was weird but I didn't want it to be any other way!
