Don't fall asleep at night that she can't steal her laptop
I rolled my eyes while staring at the board in front of me. Here I was in my roomfor two hours already trying to figured out how to get my credit cards back. I coulnd't figure out anything. It was like he thought about every possible idea I could have and took care about the fact that I could put them into practice.
He was surely annoying as hell! But I mean - come on - I was from the Upper East Side and he only from Brooklyn so I new how to play games - of any kind - way better than he did.
I decided that I needed help so I pulled out my phone and dialed Tracy's number.
"What's up, honey?"
"Nothing much, I just wondered if you would like to come over? I have kind of a problem with Matty and I could use some help!"
"Don't tell me he ruined any of your handbags!" she squealed into the phone.
"No! Then I wouldn't have a problem at all since I would just kill him!" I chuckled.
"I will be there in five!"
"You better be!" I joked before I hung up.
Get ready for a fight, Tylers. You better keep in mind to not mess with a girl from Manhatten!
I got out of my flanel pyjamas and changed into a pair of short jeans shorts and a white golden top. A pair of golden flats made my look perfect.
Who says you shouldn't be able to look perfect when you are going to take somebody down?
I went downstairs and decided to order us two mango smoothies from a restaurant nearby. As I got off the phone again the doorbell rang and a moment later Tracy and I were seated on the couch in my room upstairs staring at the white board. "I really don't want to be the one who has to tell you that, but this boy is not stupid and there is no way to get your credit cards back. Yet there is still a way for you to go shopping!" Tracy finally said. I raised an eye brow my eyes glinting full of hope "What came to your mind?"
"Well, internet shopping might not be as much fun as real shopping but yet it is some kind of shopping and you don't really need your credit card for it. So" she answered but I cut her off embracing her into a hug and screaming "Thank you! You are A- M- A- Z- I- N- G! I have no clue how I coundn't see that but luckily you did!" She patted my back and let out a chuckle "Keep calm, I know, I know I am awesome and rescued your day and all but still: no reason to freak out!" I let myself fall back onto the couch just at the moment I heard a light knock coming from the door "Hey, it's me, Matty. Can I come in for a second?" Tracy and I both gave each other a shocked look before I quickly answered "Uhm, sure just give me one second okay?"
"Okay" came the answer from the other side of the door and Tracy and I quickly got up to pull the board into my bathroom. Once we were done we locked the door and I headed over to the door to open it. There was Matty standing with our two smoothies and his amazing sandwiches. "Hey! The man brought those smoothies so I thougt I would make you some sandwiches. Oh and thanks for my smoothie! How did you know I love apple banana smoothies?" he explained and smiled. I shrugged "I was just guessing. And to be honest I recognized you would always eat the apple and banana slices at breakfast". He smiled and hold out the tray "So here you go. Enjoy, ladies!". I shook my head and took a step back "No way! Come in you can hang with us if you have no other plans! This is Tracy. Tracy this is Matty!" I gestured between the two of them and they exchanged a quick "Hey, nice to meet you!". Then Matty placed the sandwiches on the table between the couches and let himself fall onto the opposite couch from Tracy and me. "You have to try those sandwiches, Trac! If you once have aten them there is nothing that could be better than those for you!" I told her and watched how Matty's cheeks colored slightly red at the compliment. "Really?" she asked raising one eyebrow. I nodded and Matty explained "Last time she went all hunger games on them!". He winked at me and I couldn't help but smile at the memories of one of the first times when we actually joked around like we were friends.
