"Clare, hunny, are you all packed up?" yells a man from another room.  I pick up some boxes and say "Yes, Dad." My little sister, Dani, recently passed away in my house, so we decided to move away because it there were too many memories here of her. I don't talk as much anymore, ever since that dreadful day. Being without Dani really pushed me over the edge with my depression.

I look around me and my sister's and old room. The memories dance around me as I turn slowly in a circle. Especially spending every Christmas together, staying up waiting for Santa. I also thought about birthdays, sad times, telling secrets to each other, and having sleepovers. My eyes fill with water when my Dad yells "Clare! Let's go." I let the tears fall and sit down in that spot where I was standing. I take one of her old stuff animals she loved as a young child out of one of the boxes and hold it close. My Dad walks in and says nothing. He walks up and sits next to me, wrapping his bear-like arms around me. I cry loudly into his chest, as he rocks me back and forth.
