SAVANNAH POV
Rian and Alex are happily talking in the front of the car, just joking around and laughing like a whole bunch of shit didn't just go down.
Why would they act any different for you? God, you're so selfish.
I try to stop myself from being angry at them for not asking if I'm okay or anything like that, because they have way more on their minds. I'm just awkwardly sitting in the back and staring out of the window like I'm in a dramatic movie or music video.
I shouldn't have exploded on Xiu like that and end our friendship just because she's trying to look out for me, but of course my dumbass had to blurt out something I didn't mean.
Now I don't even know if Xiu would even bother listening to me if I tried to apologize to her. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten so combative and stubborn and actually listened to her advice, because 85.73% percent of the time, Xiu is right.
I start thinking about the things she said to me, and I know that she's right but I can't stop myself from having feelings for Logan. He just makes me feel alive and free and all of these other things. I can admit that Xiu was partially right, but she's still wrong about him.
Logan Scott is one of a kind.
Not only are his looks killer, but he's definitely a master in the bedroom, so he's a keeper.
I'll make up with Xiu one day, because I don't want to be at her throat over something as stupid as me sleeping with someone that I'm in a relationship with.
"Hey!" Alex shouts, scaring the shit out of me.
"Dude, are you trying to give me a heart attack?" I ask, taking deep breaths to try and also my heartbeat down again.
"I've said your name like twenty thousand times!" Alex exclaims, and I can see Rian begin to chuckle.
"Well, you only said her name about eight or nine times." Rian states, and Alex rolls her eyes.
"God, do you always have to be correct about everything?" Alex asks, smiling widely at him.
"Yes, I do." Rian adds, and they both start to laugh.
They're so perfect.
I begin to pay closer attention to them, their body language and their facial expressions, and that's what true love looks like to me. All I want is to find my own love, so what's the problem?
Logan has made me feel so much different than my past relationships, and it feels like a breath of fresh air. That must be how Alex feels, so I want to feel the same way.

We arrive at the restaurant, and I sit down and watch Rian pull out the chair for Alex.
"Thanks." Alex says flirtatiously, tucking her hair behind her ear.
"You're welcome, Mrs. Peterson." Rian says back, leaning down to kiss her.
Ugh, couples.
Now I feel like even more of a third wheel.
He sits down next to her, wrapping an arm around her before picking up his menu with his free hand. Enviously, I peek up and watch over them like how a stalker would watch a child coming off the school bus.
