BRENDAN POV

There's absolutely nothing that currently surrounds me. It's almost as if there's no definite space that I'm existing in, and that there's nothing made up. I'm the only thing that's in existence.

Deafening silence fills my ears, and whenever I try to make any noise, there's nothing. Also, if I try to take a step forward, or backward, I can't. It's almost as if I've been encapsulated and incarcerated in an invisible box of some sort.

Once I somehow manage to turn around, I see Savannah in front of me. We're extremely close to each other, in fact, her chest is pressed against mine. One of her hands reach up, and she runs it through my hair before letting it rest on the side of my face.

She stands on her toes, and we kiss passionately like there's only a few minutes left on Earth. My hands rest on her small waist, slipping underneath her shirt and gently touching her cool skin. Savannah then tangles her arms around my neck, and my breathing quickens as the butterflies begin to awaken in my gut.

As her smooth lips begin to intermingle with mine, a small moan comes from me, and I can feel her mouth turn into a little smile before she begins nuzzling my neck with gentle, delicate kisses.

It feels as if I'm floating as the tingling sensation radiates outward from my neck and through the rest of my body. I've never felt anything better than this.

Anything.

Out of nowhere, there's a sudden brightness that overwhelms the both of us, and we begin to ascend up into it like we're angels.

Savannah looks radiant as the lighting compliments her from every angle, and her green eyes are so bright, resembling a beautiful jewel or stone so rare that it's on the verge of extinction.

Breathtaking.

But before I can enjoy her beauty, there's nothing.

~~~
The first thing I see when I wake up is Savannah's blonde hair being highlighted by the rising sun that peaks through the blinds. Her freckled bare back is exposed, and I carefully move my fingertips along her spine so that I don't wake her.
Her smooth skin feels like silk beneath my fingertips, and I watch the tiny hairs along her back begin to stand. Goosebumps begin to follow my finger as it slowly creeps down every notch in her spine, spreading to the rest of her exposed skin.
The flashbacks of last night come back to my mind almost instantly, and I smile to myself because I know she isn't afraid to love me. All it took was asking her if she listened to her heart or her head more to make her realize who she was meant to be with all along.
Me.
Now that she's finally found a way out of Logan's trap, she's finally free to be who she was before they met. She's finally mine, and I made a promise to myself to not hurt her because I know she would be more than betrayed if I did that.
She's already been hurt enough by Logan, I wouldn't even think of deliberately losing her trust or loyalty by doing something to make her leave me.
I don't want her to believe everyone who warned me about her. I've done everything I could to change myself and get rid of that God awful side of me that existed, so I'll make damn sure that Vannah sees something in me. She will be able to trust me and not look at me with uncertainty.
