SAVANNAH POV
I rush through the double doors, and I'm rushing through the corridors, aimlessly searching for someone to lead me to the ER or the ICU. I feel a knot in my stomach as the words that Brendan said repeat themselves in my head.
He's partially right, and I myself have no clue why I rushed here. Part of me feels guilty because he was on his way to see me before the accident happened. But part of me doesn't feel bad considering the fact that he hurt me.
I keep going back and forth with myself, and neither side is able to win. Everything else around me doesn't even matter right now, I'm just trying to figure out what to do.
"Savannah?" A voice calls out.
I turn around, and I see Anthony walking towards me. He looks frazzled, and I can tell that he's tired due to how red his eyes look. Anthony's clothes are drenched due to the heavy rain outside, and his shoes squeak and squeal against the floor.
"Do you know where Logan is? Do you know of his condition?" I ask frantically, and he sighs.
"I'll just let the doctors tell you. Come on." Anthony says, and we begin rushing to the room.
In the hallway, I see London who also looks extremely worried. We make eye contact for a split second, but then I look away because I still get embarrassed because of what we did that unfortunate night that I met Logan.
"Long time, no see." London says with a half smile, and I force a laugh before continuing to follow Anthony.
We finally end up in the ICU, and there are so many doctors talking and heart monitors beeping that I can't even think properly. I nearly bump into a girl who looks just a couple of years younger than me, and she's running through the corridor and frantically asking where her sister is and if she is okay.
"I swear I knew where his room was, I was in there when I called you." Anthony says, sounding puzzled, and I furrow my eyebrows as I aimlessly look into the curtains of each room.
"Of course you'd manage to lose his room." London mutters, and she begins looking around as well.
I spot Rian walking into a room, and a few doctors follow him. They're in the middle of trying to hurriedly save someone, and Rian is trying to perform CPR on the young woman who is on the bed. There's so much blood that the gloves that they all wear are instantly covered with it, and Rian is sweating profusely as he's demanding that more oxygen be given to her.
I hear a long beep, and Rian looks defeated as he keeps pumping on her chest before finally giving up. He wipes his sweat with his forearm, and he shakes his head in disbelief.
"Aubrienne Callahan. Time of death, 11:28 p.m., cause of death, self inflicted gunshot wound to the chest." A young woman reports, and it's not long before she pulls the sheet over Aubrienne.
The teenage girl that I nearly ran into begins weeping, and she collapses onto the ground in shock. Rian picks her up off of the floor, and he has someone bring her a wheelchair so she can get wheeled to a room because it's obvious that her anxiety is only getting worse.
"Someone take Audrienne Callahan to a room please."
As she's wheeled away, Rian runs his hands through his hair before walking towards us. I'm relieved because Rian seems to know everything that's going on with every patient in the hospital.
