Chapter 16: Endearment (Wrote A Poem)

Mary's P.O.V

*The bell rings*

Nothing happen at our 3 Classes, but in English Class, I Caught Asa staring at me. it was a bit weird and I didn't know what to do. I wasn't expecting something like this. but oh well

I was supposed to be in my Art Class and my Singing Lessons but they were closed for today. I went to my room and called my parents on my laptop.

I turn on my laptop and set it on my bed with me. then I was already there waiting for them.

"Is this on?" I heard my mother saying to my father

"Yea, it's on" he replied

then I saw them

"Mary! oh my dear how are you?" she said

"Oh Hello Mom and Dad, I am fine thanks and what about you guys?" I said

"we're fine dear, so how is boarding school?" my father said

"It's great, it's really great, guys"

"did you make any friends?" my mother said

"yea, my best friend is my roommate.. she happens to be an actor, that's really stunning to me, her name is Chloe Grace Moretz, I also made 4 other friends and they're also actors" I told them

"oh that's wonderful" my father said

"are there boys that are your friends?" mom asked

"Yea, there's actually 4 boys, momma" I said

she gasped

"oh don't worry Momma, there's actually really nice and cool people" 

"is there any boy that you are interested in?" my father asked

"Yea, I guess so..I don't know" I said

"what's his name?"

"Asa Butterfield" I said

"oh I heard about him, your cousins had mentioned about him" he smiled

"Oh Wow that's great, how come I never heard of him?" I was a bit mad that I was idiot who didn't know who Asa was

they laughed

"Anyways, happy thanksgiving guys, I love you guys so much" I said

"we love you too, sweetheart, happy thanksgiving!" they said together

"well I can see you guys are going to bed, since it's night there" I said to them

"Yea, we're just about too, we better get some sleep, well goodnight dearly. call us if you need anything, we are here to help you. and well see you next month at Christmas." my mother said

"Ok bye, momma" I was getting sad

"Bye... love you" my father said

"Love you too" I said

then they went off. so did I.

It was good to see my parents, the room was so quiet. Chloe wasn't here yet.

I slowly turn around and look at the window, all I saw was the cloudy skies. kids playing on the field, walking by. while looking, my eyes lead to the Ferris wheel, it already lights on for every night.

now the rain came along. I adore the smell of the rain, also seeing the raindrops on the ground. I sometimes don't like when the breezy comes. but I got used to it.

I was spending my time alone. watching the rain fall.. Chloe came until 4pm.. so it was an hour, alone in my room.
