Chapter 26: My True Tenderness (Mistletoe)

Asa's P.O.V

it's been 5 hours on the jet and still almost there to Pennsylvania . Chloe and her mum fell asleep, they were laying there heads next to the window with blankets on them. I was looking at the clouds and it was kind of red, like it was raining in night.

Chloe's Mum's best friend, named Henry, he was wide awake and never fell asleep while driving the jet. we felt safe and warm. but I was nervous wreck, seeing Mary again plus, what's worse, is telling her how I feel. but I knew I couldn't hide anymore and I couldn't hang on anymore to this love I had for Mary.

I fell asleep and dreaming about Mary.. how the way she smiles, she looks at my direction, and how her beauty only shines at me.

I woke up and we were still on the jet, the sun was rising the windows.

"Asa?"I heard Henry calling me

"Yea?" I said

"can you come in the front?" he said

"Sure" I respond

I came to the front of the seat of the jet, henry was enjoying the view, so was I

"we are still far away from  Pennsylvania " he said

"how much time till we get there?"

"about 6 hours left"

I sigh... 

Henry was about on his mid 20s or close to mid 30s. he was very nice guy, he had a girlfriend back in LA. he never had kids but he did got marry.

"so why are you going to  Pennsylvania for?"

"to find someone" I respond

"is it Love, kid!?" he said in curious tone

I nodded

"well kid, love is a powerful and silly even SHIT sometimes.. excuse me but when it comes to True love, Asa.. now that's a different story"

"yea, how so?" I asked, looking at him

"because my parents were like Romeo and Juliet, but they didn't kill themselves of course not, but they did fight to be together. their love weren't so fake. it was really real, they showed me so many pictures of themselves young, having a very good time together. even when their parents forbid them to see each other ever again. it was sad at first but they knew it was time to fight harder for their  love. when I heard that they ran away together and got married and grew old, it was like true love was possible and it was and still is"

"I love that Love story" I said

"everybody does" he said

"yea" I said

then me and Henry talked about a lot of things about life and funny moments that happened to ours in the past. Henry's funny moment were funnier than mine. then me and Chloe ate and talked about taking Mary's notebook without her permission. I told her that it was like that, I found it and I thought about flying to pennsily and telling her about my feelings.

then for another 6 hours ago, we made it to Pennsylvania were snows fallen yesterday, and it wasn't falling today and tonight.

the night was coming and we had to find Mary's home right away. me and Chloe got off, and we were reading the map.

the jet was on the large field like a park, we were near the city. it was a private jet if you ask.
