15.
"Yes!!!!" Scott practically screamed when we were done, "That was phenomenal!""Elsa really has some talent there," I said, putting on the best smile I could master."Taylor's gonna love her," Avi added his two cents and we all nodded in response - well, all but Mitch.
"Mitch," I said in a provocative warning tone, "what do you think?"
Mitch seemed to be in thought for some time before answering. "There is some really great talent there, that's for sure. Taylor will be blown away," he said and I knew he really meant it from the bottom of his heart.
We all headed out to our rooms, leaving a deep in thought Mitchell.Never have I ever been as nervous as I was as Scott tapped on the "T.S." labelled door. "Come in!" Taylor Swift's voice was audible from the other side of the door and we went in. After getting the formalities and greetings out of the way, we were ready to start.
Elsa seemed a bit nervous and I heard Scott whisper an I love you to comfort her. Music is my life, yet I still got nervous before every show. Scott and I had a tradition where we went out for cupcakes before every show because food is comforting (and cupcakes are second to Heaven). I stopped reminiscing and made up my mind that I needed a plan B because Mitch definitely wasn't pulling through and I needed my Scotty bear back.
Avi counted us in and, soon enough, I let all my sorrows and fears float away with the melody as we harmonized with perfection. We closed with a playful bow as everyone applauded. Taylor was just as proud when we bumped into her backstage.
After a brilliant performance, Kevin and Avi were headed to their rooms and Scott offered to go get refreshments for all of us. Being the generous girl that I am, I offered to help him, leaving Mitch and Elsa together. Not before I heard Mitch say, in a very low and flirtatious tone, "You were amazing back there."
After a few seconds, I stole a glance backwards at the two. Now, if someone else had told me this, I wouldn't have believed it either, but I swear on the best cupcake in the world, it did. What I saw when I turned was Mitch's lips on Elsa's. I'm not sure if it was because of the shock, but whatever it was, it kept Elsa stationary.
I smiled and tugged Scott towards the vending machine filled with Chocolate, drinks and all things nice. I couldn't help the little skip I had in my walk. Turns out Gay Boy wasn't too bad after all.

The day passed by in a blur after a very productive session and pretty soon it was breakfast time. I had to go to Elsa and Scott's rooms to get them to come eat. I started with Elsa and only realized after I had opened the door and witnessed a very intimate scene between the two lovebirds that she was with someone.
"Oh, hey Kirstie," she said with embarrassment evident on her face.
"Hey... Uhm... Breakfast is served." I said awkwardly.
"On our way," Scott said with a smile. I nodded my head an walked out, but not before I heard Scott say, "I wonder what's got her so down." It made me smile a little to know that he could still read me.I sat around the table with the only two people who still seemed to be normal around. Kevin asked where Mitch was and I offered to go get him down.
"Today's the day, Mitch," I said to him the second he let me in. Mitch looked uncertain and my suspicions were confirmed when he said, "I can't do it!!"
I signaled for him to quiet down because the walls have ears. "Die mure het ore," as they say in Afrikaans.
"Scott is going to flip." Mitch tried to justify his cowardice. "I can't ruin our friendship and possibly end things between him and the one who he set his heart on. I nearly did that before and I hated seeing him like that."
"The truth hurts, Mitch." I said heartlessly.
Mitch's response left me utterly shocked.
"And the truth is that you want them apart, right?"
