Dialogue prompt: darling, stop
"Darling, stop." This was about the thousandth time I've told her this. Even though I was at my limit, there was actually no way I was going to let her do it.
She picked up the knife yet again to my dismay. If she hurt herself again, she might not make it through this time. I was going to have to do something and she wasn't going to like it.
My hands reached for the rope I hoped I wasn't going to need. Too bad I was. Grabbing her wrist, making her drop the knife, I spun her around. She tooth and claw until she was secure to a chair. Her whining echoed around the room. This was going to be the longest night of my life
