"Un di sith ya hülganilth," the four of us changed in front of the foggy lake. The ancient, moldy script we read off of lead us to this lake in the middle of nowhere.
Across the world, demons breathed their containment fields. They chased, they slaughtered, they ate us like cattle in our large cities. Now, we're in dire need of an ancient weapon only prophecied about.
"Ik sith suderide qaüntilc," our voices merged into one as our chants echoed in the night.
Gusts of wind took over our voices until the very last syllable. Then, it stopped. In the middle of the lake, a twister appeared causing a screeching noise. The weapon must be inside of it. Light spilled out while the wind evaporated, sending a gust of wind in our direction.
I couldn't believe my eyes; there must be something wrong. Rubbing my eyes, I glanced at the men beside me. Their mouths stood agape.
A lone girl stepped across the water. The weapon was a little girl.
