Walking down the path, I couldn't help but think of the skeleton that called himself Sans. Something about him seemed...unsettling, to say the least. Maybe it was the smiled that hadn't faltered for even a second, or maybe it was the mystery of him seemingly appearing out of thin air. Or maybe it could've been the fact that, well, he could've easily captured me and turned me over to the royal guard, but for some reason didn't. He told me to keep an eye out for another skeleton, and that this one would capture me on sight. I shuddered, thinking about what would become of me.
I traveled down the path until I eventually ended up what looked to be a town. As I drew nearer, I could see a sign the said "Welcome to Snowdin," on it. It took me a moment but I groaned aloud as I realized the pun. Seriously though, first the skeleton, now this?!? I kind of regret coming here at this point.
I quickly realized that in Snowdin, there are lots of monsters that look nothing like the others I've seen. I could see a bear, some dogs, and some other creatures that looked like nothing I have ever seen. As far as I could see, monsters hustled about from place to place. There were a multitude of buildings, including a library, a restaurant called Grillby's, an inn, and what looked to be someones house. I could see someone outside of said house, checking their mailbox by the front door, and dramatically looking disappointed when there was nothing for them. This particular monster was wearing a bright red scarf, and seemed to be a skeleton, like Sans. Wait, another skeleton?!? This must be the brother that Sans warned me about, Papyrus. I panicked, knowing that if he saw me, I'd be dead for sure. I ran into the building closest to me, which was the inn, and prayed that he hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary.
