David POV: Today Liza and I are going to another doctors appointment. She's about 8 months now, so her due date is pretty close. The doctor was right about her just getting HUGE all of the sudden, she has a whole new wardrobe now, and she always joking with the doctor about how she's sure that there's 2 babies in there because she's so huge.
Liza POV: IM HUGE. It's pretty uncomfortable and it's a lot of hard work to walk. I try to stay in as much as I can, but sometimes I just have to get out, today is one of those days, I have a doctors appointment. I get up and get dressed, after that David grabs my hand as I waddle out of our apartment. It's really not that far to walk, but when you're carrying another human, it's a lot to walk to the elevator, and then to your parking spot in the garage. When we finally get to the elevator I sigh in relief. "I know hon, he's almost here." David says then kisses me on the head. I just smile and nod. When we get to the parking garage where we park our car, David goes and gets it so I don't have to walk, then I hop in and we are on our way.
David POV: We arrive at the doctors office and we sign in. They were running a little behind schedule, so they called us in about 30 minutes late. When we finally got to go back the first thing they did was weigh Liza, and then they said they could tell us approximately how much Landon would weigh when he was born. I thought that was crazy. They told Liza and I he would probably weigh around 7.8-8.0 pounds, which is pretty big, considering how small Liza is. After they look at the baby, Doctor williams looks at us and says, "Ok, so I know you guys wanted a homebirth, and I think I found a midwife that would be PERFECT for you guys. Her name is Tina and since y'all are so young, I think she'd be really great for your first birth, because it can be kind of scary. Now, here's her card, just give her a call, and if you like her, great, if you don't, that's completely ok, I will make sure and find you someone just as good." "Ok thank you so much" Liza says and then we go ahead and leave.
Liza POV: When we get home I call Tina and I know right away that she's the one. She seems so sweet and reassuring about everything. She tells me that if I have any concerns about ANYTHING to just call her and she'll come right over, and whenever I go into labor, she said to just stay calm and call her, and she'll be here quick, since she only lives about 5 minutes away. Then David talks to her for a minute and he agrees that she the one. After that Gabbie and Zane come over for dinner and talk to us for a while. At about 11 we say goodnight and David and I go ahead to bed. I couldn't sleep though, the closer it gets to my due date, the more nervous I get, I know that's normal, but still. David can tell, he keeps comforting me though, and it really does make me feel better, I really love him.
