Liza POV: I just got off the phone with my mom and I was crying hysterically. It was partly the hormones partly the actual incident and partly the pain I was going through. I JUST WANT LANDON TO BE HERE!! I can't do this anymore! After a few minutes Tina came back in to the bedroom and saw that I was crying. "Oh goodness...is everything alright?" "Oh! Um yea..." I said plastering on a fake smile. "Liza, you can tell me..." She said looking at David, as if waiting for him to tell her. "Liza...hon, do you want to tell her babe?" David asked me, squeezing my hand. "Okok. So basically when David and I went back home to tell my parents that I was pregnant, they were not happy.....to say the least.....they called me a disappointment, and cussed me out, told me I wasn't mature enough to have a baby. But what hurt me the most.....was them telling me that David......David was......" I couldn't even finish my sentence, before clinging on to David again. "Her parents said that I would leave her once the baby arrived...." David said. "That sounds terrible. Let me just tell you, I've delivered so many babies in my lifetime, and you two are my favorite clients so far. Your love for eachother is just....so real. You remind me of my husband and I when we had our first born, we were 17 at the time and scared to death. But even when it got tough, our love is what kept us going, and now 15 years later, were still as happy as can be." After Tina told us that, I looked at David as he smiled down at me, and suddenly, nothing my parents said mattered anymore..."now, let's get your water broken and have this baby shall we??" Tina said. Before we start, "Hey gab, you can go if you want.....I know this must be boring for you, so if you want to go you can I m-" "LIZA?! I would not miss the birth of your first child! It doesn't matter how bored I am....I'm here for you guys...well actually just more like Liza, cause like she said, SHES the one who has to get it out, davey just has to hold her hand." "Thanks gab." I said. "No problem" she said walking over and hugging me.
David POV: Tina was trying to break Liza's water for about the 5th time, but she said if this time didn't work, we'd HAVE to let It happen naturally. All of the sudden, Liza sighed in relief, "OH THANK GOD!!" She yelled. "There we go....." Said Tina, she had finally broken her water! "Okaaaaayyy, that should get things moving even faster, your sweet little baby boy will be here within the next 6 hours! Now, the most important thing to remember now is don't fight your body. Let it do what it needs to do to get this baby out of you." "Ok thank you." Liza said.
-About an hour later-
David POV: Tina was right about things moving even faster, Liza was already in a lot more pain than she already was. All she wants to do is lay on me, she can barely even talk. She's laying sort of in my lap, with Gabbie on the floor next to her, leaning on the bed, and holding a wet rag on her head. "David......I need to move. I need another position...like now!" "Ok baby, just tell me what you wanna do." I said back soothingly. "I want to be on all fours, Tina said that was a good position." So Liza got on all fours and laid her head on my shoulder as I sat in front of her. She just gently rocked back and forth, breathing heavily, trying to handle the pain. Gabbie was sitting on the bed behind her, gently massaging her back. When all, of the sudden Liza let out this kind of weird Whiney scream. "DAVIDDAVIDDAVIDDDDDDDDD.....I NEED TO PUSH!!!" Tina heard this and came into the room, "Ok Liza, go ahead and do what you need to, I'm here." Liza gave a few pushes during that contraction, and Tina said she was doing great. Just about every contraction after that, Liza needed to push. Gabbie was standing next to Liza gently rubbing her back as she did. After about 15 minutes of pushing, Tina told Liza to push again for her, "OH! Liza!! I see his head!!! KEEP GOING KEEP GOING!" Liza exhaled after about 10 seconds, breathing heavily and clinging to my arm. "Ok Liza, this is going to be really uncomfortable for a minute..I'm sorry..." Then Tina checked Liza once again. "Ok Liza, now look at me....you can't freak out when I say this, it is very common and there's an easy fix....but it looks like you baby is in a very odd position, one in which he can't be delivered in." I felt Liza's whole body tighten, "WHAT DO I DO??!" "YEA, HOW CAN WE FIX IT!?" Liza and I said, trying not to freak out. "It's very simple, Liza I need you to flip over onto your back, and keep your legs very wide." "CAN I STILL LEAN ON DAVID!?" She asked worriedly. "Yes of course." Tina said with a smile. Gabbie and I helped Liza flip over and lean on me once again as I leaned against the headboard. "OH MY GOD DAVID!!" Liza said crying, trying to catch her breath. "I know I know!! Honey, I know it's a lot of pressure, but I need you to stay calm for me ok?" Tina said rubbing her leg. "Ok." Liza said exhaling as the contraction ended. It was about another 3 minutes before she got another one. "OK! YEP!! Body is DEFINEITLY wantin me to push!" "Go ahead Liza. Give me a big push!" Tina said. "Mmmmmmmmmmmughhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" Liza pushed as hard as she could, gripping my hand with all of her strength. After a few pushes like that, the pain was starting to get to her, and she started to freak out a little. "GET IT OUT GET I TOUT GET IT OUT!!!!!!" She kept trying to push without a contraction "Liza! Honey wait till you get another contraction to push for me ok??" "I JUST WANT IT OUT!!!" "Listen, it's going to take even longer if you don't wait till a contraction ok? I'm going to go get a warm rag, that should calm you down and relax you a little more." When Tina came back she placed the warm rag on Liza. After a few minutes of that she was pretty calm again. "David. I just want you to know that I REEEEEAAALLLY hate you right now.........like literally....your such a dick." I felt like now wasn't the time to disagree or try and make Liza feel better, so I just said. "I know babe I'm sorry." "You should be! Imagine having to push a FUCKING BOWLING BALL through your dick!!!" I couldn't help but laugh a little at that, she heard me and flicked me off, as she propped herself up to push again. "I need to push." "Go ahead" "mmmmmmmmmmughhhhhhhhhhhh.......ouchouchouchouch!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!!!!" "KEEP GOING LIZA I SEE HIS HEAD!!!" Tina said. "JESUS CHRIST.....OMIGOD....OUCHHHHHHHHH.....OHMY!!!!" "COMEON LIZA HIS HEADS ALMOST OUT!!!" Just then Liza sighed in relief, "IS HIS HEAD OUT YET!?! PLEASE TELL ME ITS OUT!!!" "Not quite sweetie.." Tina said reassuringly. "I need to push, it's hurting me to just sit and wait for another contraction." "You can push without a contraction, but only short small pushes, ok?" "OK JUST LET ME PUSH!" Liza said. Liza pushed a little bit, and I could barely see over her stomach the head..."OH CMON BABY YOU CAN DO IT!" "Shut up David." She said to me. Out of habit when it started to hurt more and more. She started to want to close her legs, "DAVID! HOLD HER LEGS BACK, THE BABYS ALMOST OUT." Liza and I both grabbed her legs and pulled them back just as she screamed. "HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! AHHHHH OUCHHHHHAAAAA!!" She said crying. "Liza the head is out!!! That's the hardest part right there!!" "OH THANK GOD!!!!!" A few minutes later she got another contraction and started to push, "OWOWOWOWLWOWOW!!!! IS IT ALMOST OVER?!?!" "Yes babe it's almost over, I see his shoulders!" I said gently stroking her hair. "COME ON LIZA HONEY!!!" Liza let out a great exhale, "THERE HE IS!!" Tina said as she placed him on the towel on Liza's chest. Liza and I immediately started crying. "He......he's....gorgeous." I said sobbing. "Wow." Liza said through her tears as well. "Gabbie smiled at us while snapping pictures and crying. Liza and I admired Landon for a few more minutes while Tina cleaned him up. When she weighed him we were all shocked, he weighed 9lbs 4oz!!! "Wow Liza! That's a big baby to come out of such a small person! Considering his size, that was a really hard birth for you I'm sure!" "Yea well there's only one person to blame it on! I'm only 5 foot, so he didn't get those genes from me!" I said giggling smiling at David. "Liza....were parents now." "Uhuh" we said looking at Landon together. He was so beautiful. "You know Liza, I never thought I could love anyone else as much as I love you, but.....I guess it's possible." I said, looking down at Landon in Liza's arms, as he grabbed onto my finger. I will forever cherish this beautiful moment.
