David POV: I wake up with Liza snuggled into my chest and my arms around her. She is watching some cooking show on T.V. When she realizes I'm awake she looks up at me, rubs my cheek and says, "Good morning babe." Just hearing her voice gives me butterflies. I think I'm going to ask her to move in with me later today, it's our one year anniversary anyway, I think it's time. Liza then breaks my train of thought when she starts to get up to get ready. "Where are you going?" I ask. "I'm going out with Gabbie today, but I will be home by 4:30 for our anniversary dinner." She says back. That's fine, that will give me time to set up the apartment for our movie after dinner. She's like me, we'd rather just stay inside in our comfy clothes for our anniversary rather than go out. So I'm in charge of getting dinner.
Liza POV: Today Gabbie and I are going to see Kristen and Scott, she is 8 months now, which means the baby will be here soon, and we want to let them know we are here to help with whatever they need. When we first get there they are painting the baby's room light blue. We immediately go and start helping, when Kristen starts craving Chick-Fil-A, so Scott leaves to pick some up for all of us. About 15 minutes after he leaves we finish painting, so we go and sit in the living room and wait for him to get back. Scott gets back a few minutes later, and we all sit down to eat. "So Scott, are you excited for your baby boy to get here?!" Gabbie asks. "Yea, every time we get In the car I see the
baby's car seat, and keep thinking that there is going to be a baby there soon, I just want him to get here, I'm sooooo excited to meet my little bud!!!" "What about you Kristen?!" I ask. "Well, since I'm so far along now I'm HUGE, so it's pretty uncomfortable,but Scott is great at doing what he can to keep me happy, and anytime I'm just over it, I think about how cute our baby is going to be." Kristen says. I then realize that it's already 4, dang! I told David I'd be home by 4:30. "Sorry to rush out so soon guys, but I have to get home for David and I's anniversary." "Oooooooohhh.....have fun......😏!" Everyone says. "Guys..." I say with a laugh, than I roll my eyes and walk out.
David POV:Liza gets back right at 4:30, she walks in and says, "Hey babe!" Then She quickly gives me a peck on the cheek and goes to change for our movie. When she comes back in she is shocked, "Babbbbbeeeeeeee...." She says. "What's all this???" I look at her and laugh, " You mean the hotdogs and slurpees from 7/11?" "Yessssss....babe, this is soooooo sweet, it's just like our first date! You are seriously the best! I love you!!" She says. "I love you too!" Then we settle in to watch our movie, we are watching legally blonde, I don't really know why, but as long as I'm with her, it's going to be great. When we're done eating and the movie is over, I turn on the lights and say, "Babe, can k ask you something?" "Sure." She says back. "Will you move in with me??" "Ummmm, no.." My heart drops."But....you can move in here! That way we don't have to live with Alex and Dom too, and it will just be us, plus my apartment is bigger anyways." I'm so relieved, "That sounds great Liza! You're so smart!" "I know." She says With a giggle. "Now....speaking of privacy....do you honk we could use some right now,?"I say as I kiss her. "Yeeeahhhh...." Liza says as she kisses my neck. And well.....you know what happened.
