Feeling weightless

The pain was immesurable. Both physical and mental. The titan ive piloted for many many battles, was just destroyed. And i myself took an Anti-titan round to the midsection. And now i was falling out of the sky. Almost unconscious, i was plumeting at high speed. The wind was painful. The wind brushes my eye on the exposed part of my visor, as well as finding its way into the hole in my stomach. There is no way that i will survive this. Im falling to fast for any kind of anything to save me now. Unimaginable pain followed as my back slammed against the ground, completely shattering my spine. There was no hope now. I was going to die, no question. The last thing i saw was Firebreak screaming at me. Something about the Living Titan program. I couldnt believe my eyes, ears, any of my senses really. Today was actually the day I died. That was my thought proccess of course until I woke up. I was in a bright white room laying on an operating table with many sharp tools and instruments hanging precariously above me on what looked like a childs mobile. I look down over my body which was covered by a bloodied white sheet. I tried to move but i couldnt for i was bound to the table, as if it was a torture device. "Help! Where the fuck am I?" My screams seem to get me nowhere. Then a doctor walks in, followed by Firebreak. "He seems to be doing well doctor." I hear Firebreak say to the doctor. "Yes, he is accepting the core much better than the others, nigh, might I say pefectly." The doctor responds to Firebreak. "His wounds?"
"All healed in a matter of minutes when the the core was fused to him." "And the failsafe trigger?"
"Locked in ze armoury in the form of Biometal."
"Hm interesting. Keep of the good work Doctor Groff."
"Yes of course it will be wunderbar!"
Amazingly through the thick of this conversation i managed to keep my mouth shut. Of course with me having absolutely no idea what there talking about, i was only paying attention to the fact of my wounds were healed. Im going to be honest i was confused as fuck untill i heard a small whirring noise and a sharp pain in my neck. And i was once again out cold. This time i woke to the sound of a computer reading out some sort of code. "1-2-3-2-4-1 override normal operation." I was in a training pod. As soon as the computer stopped reading out the code, the green lights flicker to life, envoloping me into a new situation and strangely without my command. And suddenly im in the field with no equipment besides some civilian clothing. I look around to see my comrades fall like flys. In front of me were three titans that were advancing. I recognized this situation. This was the event in which titans were first introduced to the battle field. My orders were clear, eliminate all titans. Before i could even think that this was insane, a barrage of ordinanace decided to fill the airspace directly in fronnt of my face. I had no gun, no shield of any kind, no titan. So by human instinct I throw up my hands in front of my face to no avail. Or so i had thought. I look up from underneath my "shields" to see a blue wave emitting from my left hand, that had caught all of the bullets and missiles that had come my way. While still raising my hand i pinch my skin with my other hand to make sure im not a titan. "Humans cant do this..." i said to myself out loud. As soon as the barrage ends and im holding so much ordinance that i cant even see my targets. With a quick flick of my finger all the bullets and missiles i was holding goes flying back to they're senders. With explosions and loud sounds of metal tearing the titan closeset to me falls. One down. I look to the next one and the world seems to slow, and as it does certain parts of the Titan are highlighted in red. I quickly rush up to it trying to avoid a volley of antititan rounds. With great success due to a newfound speed that would put the Master Chiefs mile time to shame. As well as the dexterity to grab a giant antititan shell and procede to shove it into the hatch of the cockpit. Using the brass as a stepping stone i climb to the top of the titan. I shove my hand into the emergency eject hatch and rip it open, falling on the pilot inside. "Hello!" I say as i shove his head back into the seat and the virtual pilot dissapears into the simulation. I get myslef situated in the titans cockpit and run diagnostic scans. Its fully functional. However it turns to blue dust and i fall on my ass. "I guess im not aloud to use titans." The remaining titan changes and shifts into a nimble body with a giant blade. "Ronin, huh. These others werent a problem so i dont see why you would be any different." I say drawing my knife from its scabbard on my leg which had just materialized. At a simple push of a button the blade super heats to red hot. The way it works is whatever it touches turns to plasma, therefore cutting any metal with ease. It was a one vs. one showdown between me and a Ronin Titan. Basically giant sword vs. thermal knife. I run up to it as fast i can to at least close the gap. It takes a swing and i sidestep at the last minute causing it to swing its sword in the ground. I take advantage of this opportunity and run up the flat side of the blade. Unfortunately the pilot new this as my plan and tried to shake me off, but as if I was controlled i transition to a nimble backflip, slicing the Tians wrist, severing it. I land on the fallen sword amd get an insane idea. I grab the hilt and with some strength i lift the giant blade into the air, and take a swing. This sends the blade soaring into the titans legs, removing them. I continue the swing upward and drop the blade on the Titan, slicing the entire mech in two. With that i turned around to look at the shimmering simulation and think a crucial thought that only just now crossed my mind... "what the fuck just happened?"
