The way out
I quickly examine my surroundings not being able to see anything through the dark visor. "Okay, maybe I don't got this." I say ripping the helmet off my head, my vision returning to the almost wire frame layout of the facility. "Find me a reasonable exit." Copy that pilot. First three floors are non traversable. We are on the fourth. "Well that's just great." Pilot. Detecting multiple titans and drop ships on approach. "Alright I have a plan." Of course pilot. Jump kit ready. I quickly turn to the right bashing down the hallway door, reading my rifle on the other side for potential threats. As planned, there stands a window in front of me. "That's gonna be my way out." I say running towards it and jumping extending my legs in a drop kick into the window, the pane shattering beneath my feet while I hold out my hands to catch the frame, using it to swing onto the wall. My jump kit fires a small ion blast and I'm on my way, running across the wall. Marking enemy titans... Count is two. The world flashes once again as two orange targets appear in my field of vision. One tone, and one Ronin. The tone is equipped with a 40 mm cannon with tracking rounds and a shoulder mounted missile salvo. The Ronin is packing a four barrel molten round shotgun and his signature sword. "I want that sword." I say out loud to myself approaching the corner of the building. Then I suggest you take it, Pilot. A small smirk draws along my face as I jump off the corner, the two titans now in view. A quick pulse from my jump kit ensures a gentle landing as i look up at my two enemies, massive machines created to take down other steel monsters, and now, they are both staring down at me aiming they're massive weapons at me. I know they're are smiling in they're cockpits, having just spotted easy prey. Pilot, I suggest you come up with a plan before our enemies stop laughing and kill us. Right. A plan. Pilot, i hope your sure about this. Already reading my mind. "Trust me." I swiftly drop to my knees and hold my hand up above me, the shield manifesting from my palm. A hailstorm of rounds from both targets bombard my shield, enough force to make my arm quiver. A moment of calm arrives and I take my chance, dropping my hand releasing the held rounds in a spread around me, bombarding the legs of the titans, and with success as the tone falls to one leg its servos locked out by a 40mm round caught in the leg. I jump up and run up the barrel of the 40mm, jumping assisted by my jump kit onto the top of the titan, firmly grasping the handle of the battery, keeping myself from falling; Pulling hard and with a twist, the battery comes free and the titan audibly groans from the power loss. Quickly tossing it aside to duck under the rather massive Ronin blade swinging by to sweep me off his comrades mech. An assisted jump and I'm on the other titan, pulling its battery as well, jumping over the swinging fist of his comrade before tossing the battery towards the tone, quickly drawing my pistol and firing a shot, detonating the battery, setting off a EMP blast powerful enough to knock out the power of the tone completely. One down. The Ronin had returned the sword to its back giving me full opportunity to it. Grabbing the hilt firmly, and pulling. The magnet holding it firmly in place. Pilot, I do not believe that a Stim would help in this situation, perhaps a grenade, however. That's right! I pull a grenade from my belt and toss it into the empty battery slot, jumping off for my safety as a explosion emits from the top of the machine, surging the electronics, jumping back up to finally pull the sword out, even a little, to drag it down through the arm, severing it completely, then swinging my whole body around and thrusting it dead center into the cockpit, piercing the hatch, and I also assume, the pilot. Well done, Pilot. Top marks.
