I had asked everyone, who is ready for the tour of the shelter. Everyone stood up out of their seats. I said "let us get moving then." I opened the door while holding it open as everyone had walked out of the cafeteria. I started with the bunker beds I stated to them "this is were we all will sleep at."
Then I had motion them to the next door this Is the wash room for the girl next to it Was the boys washroom." I said I walked over to the kitchen next to the cafeteria. I said to them "this is were some will work here with the hand made fire oven. Also I pointed to the medium door. That is were some will wash everyone clothes that job changes daily. Lastly, that is the living room/rec room.
Any questions?" One tall boy with black short hair. Said "why are you in charge, A little kid don't even look over 15 years old." I replied back "well don't take rocket science to lead but, it won't work with a smart mouth man child doing it either now, would it." as I glared at him. In the crowd of children most of them started to giggle or burst into laughter. He walked up to me as if he was about to land a hit.
Jayson walked up. Mostly he would treat me like his own brother. Very overprotective brother. But as soon as the tall kid walked way to close to me. Then Jayson got in front of me. I had moved Jayson that had planted himself between me and that tall boy who came up to me. I said do you need something from me -"
BOOM! .......BOOM! ........ BAM! We had heard from within the shelter we got silent with the sobbing and crying of the 5-7 year old. Most of the kids tried to comfort them. Then soon enough the booms stop coming down like rain. I told everyone hey guy let's just try to get some sleep.
We got an work to do for a few years anybody got an problem with that I suggest you just stop whining, because you'll be doing it for a while. Also work assigning will be tomorrow get ready for a big day. That's it let's head on to bed. Goodnight!
Few hours later......
I got up everyone still sleep I went to the cafeteria started to turn on the light in there. I headed back to the sleep area filled with slight crying of snoring. Much as I wanted to leave them be, we have jobs to do I started waking everyone up.Hey guys,... Wake up lets get into assigning the jobs. Everyone grunting out of bed. While later, I started to count the people inside the cafeteria. I had got about 200 people. This was already a hard day just the first few minutes. I got all the people at this one table to head to the Landry room. I went to the next table they went to the kitchen.
Then same for almost all the tables. then the last table there were only 5 people sitting there and then we're no other jobs. "So, guys there are no other jobs that are still there but since there is only a few of you you all will be guards. Would you mind telling me your names?"
She said "my name was Jema the others said david, Josh, Kate, and Jayson." I had looked up, then said with an chill voice "okay guys you will make sure everything is straight and in order. If someone cause an Comotion please let me know.
Even do you are guards you can still work. If you need me, I will be in the laundry room. Dissmissed!" I had left then made my way to the laundry room then the rest scatter their way of somewere. The rest of the day went by quickly. Then it was time to head to bed. I bounced onto my bunk bed, letting out an yawn. Then headed into an deep sleep.
Four years later......
