Kaitlyn Harris and her nuisance of a crew stood there with evil glares. The more they laughed, I got angrier and angrier. I had to do something; I couldn't just let them take advantage of me. For some reason, something woke up my slumber of silence. I slowly stood up as 3 important words came out of my mouth,"Leave...me...alone." Kaitlyn and her friends exchanged serious looks and then exploded with laughter. "Wow...the girl actually talks back. I'll always be better than you and that's a fact! But you know its funny Olivia..you're still weak and nothing will change that." Kaitlyn barked at me as her clique started chuckling a storm. Ron slowly stood from behind me and walked toward the enemy. " Oh. Here comes her little--"Kaitlyn implied as she was interupted with the anger of Ron. "I've had enough! Honestly Kaitlyn, why are you living your life by harrassing others? Just leave her alone..she.."As Ron's ranted words were extinguishing Kaitlyn's flames, my mind faded away from all the drama taking place. I was reliving a moment with my father and remebering what he last said to me. 'My precious Olivia, don't let fear overcome you...defeat fear and you will be victorious in your life.'

That quote came from the back of my mind and embellished the sweet memory of his voice; I wish I had a recording of that old saying he had. I suddenly came out of my daze into the real world. "I'm tired of you hurting someone I truly care for!," He exclaimed as he grabbed my hand and looked me in the,"She's something special and you're too blind to see that!" The commotion of the girls came to a stop after Ron's statement. I saw the scared look in all of their eyes. "Come on guys, lets go."Kaitlyn sadly mumbled as she headed out the door and her clique followed. I slowly gave Ron a peck on his cheek and whispered,"Thank you.." "No Olivia, thank you for making me realize that I fight for what i believe in." He replied with a smile as he entwined our fingers together. I guess my father was right, you can feel victorious after conquering your fears. I mean after all, I did speak up against Kaitlyn Harris.
