I never knew I was so flushed down with lies, hatred and loneliness. Everytime when I walk through those school building doors, everyone stares at me as if I disgusted them just by looking. Have you ever felt left out? Ever felt like a outsider? Well that's my genre. My name is Olivia Fletcher and all I want to do is belong...
First period was the beggining of my hurtful journey at school. From name-calling to shoving and all of it just hurts. As always, Mrs. Roberts would lecture on and on about the instincts of a writer. I wonder what everyone thinks of her while she blabbers her mouth. Her hair is like the sun. Always soo bright that it grabs your attention. I wish I had pretty hair instead of my dull locks. Right at that very moment, he gives me a glance. It's Ron, the boy that never speaks. Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that head of his. As he stares straight at me, Mrs. Roberts decides to make a suprise attack on me. "Olivia, would you like to tell the class what symbolism is?" Mrs.Roberts questioned and paces around the classroom. Everyone immediately turns to me; waiting for me to say something stupid. I wasn't really paying much attention in class today so I have no clue. Maybe she'll keep her cool if I give her a guess. "Uh...Symbolism is---"I replied as I was being interupted by a voice. "Symbolism is actually a way to represent things or ideas by using symbols..." The voice interupted. I turned to look over at the person and it turned out to be Ron. I never knew he had a voice; this is the first time I ever heard him speak. After he answered Mrs. Robert's trap, she simply applaused him and the chimes of the school bell started to ring.
